Powdered Bleach Review Roof Cleaning Products

Just wait, it will either work or it wont. The MSDS was correct for the product that was sent to us. That is not the end product I wanted. So wrong product and wrong MSDS. This was totally my fault for not making sure this went correctly. That is all I can say because I am not the only one involved in this.

The test will be if the consumer wants the product and can we bring it to market in a way that is convenient and cost effective to the end user. That is simple economics!

What you may want to look at AC are some US Patents Calcium Hypochlorite Scale Inhibitors like this one.

ok so thats the wrong msds? Can we see the right msds? If you've been testing this product and its been working for you, Can you show me the correct MSDS for the product you did want? What is the diffrence between the two? Also, The product that does work, that you have been testing, do you have any of that left? I would gladly do a test spot with it. PM me and I'll give you my address. We can put a end to it AC.

EYES are wide open, now all we can do is wait. If nothing happens two choices, Delux abandons the stuff and will not fool with it. Or AC is full of hot air and it doesnt exist.

I can tell you this if I was distributing the product i would test for sure.

Reality is that everyone is Aware the product is not good at this point.

I respect anyone that fails and like a bulldog is moving forward.

The question he lied to everyone? Time will tell, Marcus who said he lied has already taken that back. Said he didnt believe AC lied.


I Think Delux & AC did the right thing by refunding everyones money.

Yes people waisted there time, thats a lesson learned when using new products.

Maybe we all can learn from this and become better consumers.

Ron, this is what I don't get. You defend delux and ac, saying they did the right thing. They should have done right thing and not sold it to begin with. They knew there were issues with it but they sold it any way. And you blame Mr. Tucker for it being on his forum. That makes no sense to me. AC was peddling here to.

No I didn't blame chris and Rcia , at the moment leagally Ac is the Rcia. it's semantics , we are all to blame.

Guys here said they all ready knew?? Why did they not speak up, show me on the forum where everyone said it was bad?

Pwi does not ever cover up for Dist , most here have actually had product fixed or repaired when all else failed.

I myself admit I do not know enough about bleach or any other chems.

I guess it was the entire community's fault, I'll tell you I have even learned a lesson. Anyone bring innovative products will have to provide contractor testomonials.

So as the ball bounces or roofs keeping cleaned my eyes are opened.

As soon as I saw the MSDS Mike posted, I knew what was going to happen and remember I wrote the words "that stuff is garbage" (maybe not those exact words but I did say garbage)

Personally they claimed that green shit was supposed to be the cure all, fix all for the stuff but come to find out it is mearly a surfactant.

I was hoping for the best and didnt want to rain on the big parade that was happening, next time maybe I will be the ball buster instead?
 
Ron, all you need to do is read hinderlighter's response an hour or so after it all went down. He said the bleach wash should be used with the green wash and that may or may not solve the problem. Then he says to use sh with the green wash instead of the bleach wash. Sounds to me like he knew there was a problem but sold it anyway.

If the people screaming now would have questioned harder then likely Delux would have tested it better first.

I was under the impression that is was proven.....I think AC is still taking that Stand.

So from here all we have to do is wait. I saw it work in SC, I saw the videos of the house roofs. If others knew is was going to leave a film they should have Screamed LOUD!!! Normally thats what happens here!!!!

Mike didn't know, they have been around a long time. I know Mike & Robert for over 14 years, they are not in the snake oil sales game. They also did the right thing by pulling the products. People make mistakes and I think no one is hiding they messed up.

AC said he should have made sure, Mike admitted that his testing personally was not truly good enough.

Again, what more can be done?
 
Hey Ron, I hope you didnt think I was pointing fingers at you, I was simply trying to say that as soon as I saw the MSDS I knew what the outcome would be and I didnt say anything.

The reason I didnt is because I wanted to give them the benifit of doubt.

Mike Hinderliter is NOT a roof cleaner nor is anyone at Delco from what I know. Larry and Robert both spoke with me personally over a year ago about roof cleaning and wanting to get into the market. This was after I did the demo and talked to Mr Hinderliter at the Bama RT. Personally I really didnt want to get into it since there is so much liability that would or could have fallen back on me. That being said I believe with every breath in my being that Mike was solely trusting AC to deliver a product he could count on.

It is what it is, no matter who said what or what he says or she says. 10+ years ago Calcium Hypochlorite was still the same as it is today, GARBAGE!

I feel sorry for Mike and Delux but they will as they have proven already do the right thing.

Also, I am sure that there will be yet another snake oil or super tonic salesperson to replace they one who decieved all the contractors that bought it. Man I hate being right, one of these days yall are going to listen to me! Funny I called Scott Stone months ago and told him I smelled a rat (Not in so many words).

Wow has that sucker gotten rotten? Must be the heat!

The demo I saw here in Charleston was only showing the SoftWash system and they were only spraying water because I remember guys standing around wondering when it was gonna start killing the mold.

I saw him throw some powder down and we all stood around watching it. I think we have a video, I never thought about the residue. When we wash roofs in AZ we actually clean them. I cant use SH PH TH or MH , we use all sorts of stuff and even shovels.

To have mold and mildew you would have to grow it in a green house. LOL
