Enough of the fighting

I have stay out of the most controversial thread on this site because I just didn't feel totally qualified to chime in. In my area of the country enforcement is not a big deal YET. I know it's coming. This thread however....... When Kristopher started it I was in complete agreement. Yes he's new to the industry. I am too I've only got 6 or so years in total between 2 businesses. As this played out I felt he was getting bullied and I almost jumped in to help him. I'm glad I stayed out. Kristopher you have the ABSOLUTE RIGHT to your own opinion. We all do. You will NEVER be banned here except for the reasons stated. I am learning everyday from the folks here. Their knowledge is priceless. PLEASE take some time to get to know them. Yes a couple like to stir the pot a bit. It's what happens in the grown-up world. Live with it, ignore them when they do. They are still the best resource you will ever find when you have a problem. You really don't want to alienate some of the people who could be the very ones that will help pull your a$$ out of the fire when you need them. And only having 3 or 4 months experience you will need them. I have spent time on the phone with several of these guys and I will tell you here and now they are the the best. They have saved me time and money many times. Sit back take a deep breath and start over. A week from now this will be something to laugh about. One last thing, my mom (God rest her soul) used to tell me "Never get in a pi$$ing match with a skunk. Even if you win you're gonna lose."
 
One more thing, this isn't about respect. The fact of the matter is that I do respect a lot of these veterans and some of them have been extremely helpful to me. And I am grateful for that. My intention was never to make enemies, but when Russ bit me with his post, I bit back. I only spoke to him as I felt he spoke to me. When he actually speaks to me respectfully then I will be more then glad to return the favor.

My concern was that I feel (even still) that if I disagree with "The people in charge" that it will lead to me being banned. Proof of that has already been stated by Tony himself.
 
There is no reason to submit that many duplicate posts, that is highly frowned upon, don't do that again. That is no accident like hitting the submit button twice, that is just trying to aggravate the professionals here. Hitting the submit button over and over like a kid having a hissy-fit is not being professional and we don't need numerous duplicates of the same post. If you want attention, just ask for it, you don't have to post the same thing over and over and over for attention.

I will fix it.

Please don't make me out to be a liar. After submitting and retrying I got a white page with the words Server error.

Just a FYI, if a moderator removes a post of yours and you make another or put it back (whether for wanting attention, to aggravate others or for whatever other reason), that by itself is a serious issue and might lead to you not posting here anymore. People have done that in the past and we don't put up with it, it is against the rules here, just so you know.

I am sure you can understand that you don't need to put so many of the same posts up again now.

I wasn't going to ban you. I was just being a smart alec.

You don't need banning, you need to be put over somebody's knee.

There's nothing wrong with a little p#ss and vinegar, but you have to at least spend some time learning before you can start making judgements.

Most of these people you will see me arguing with on here used to be friends until time showed who they really are.

Sometimes that works both ways and somebody who hits you wrong at first might end up being your best friend.

You haven't been around long enough to make solid judgements yet. Put your nose to the grindstone, get some work under your belt and make the judgements later.

Unfortunately for you, that is going to go both ways. Now people are going to have to take a long time to determine what you are all about. Some of us have a long memory. That bs you pulled about Ron not keeping his word and jumping back all over Russ made you look like an idiot. Only time will fix that now (unless you really are just an idiot).

Your wanting to determine who is right or wrong is plain silly.

We all get Heated and sometimes out of line. You jumped the gun on me in a post a few days ago, you realized I took your text the worng way like how about forget meeting? until I posted you where certain I stood you up and called me a Liar not keeping my word. First off I never had to meet with you in the first place, I didnt owe you this.

Lastly this is as much your BBS as the next guy, this is not owned by me. If you ask the staff members I do not make calls on these types of matters. If I do its was requested because I may be in front of the key board more than most. So we help out, the BBS is the industrys and this is why it runs the way it does.

Third instead of bitching about how it is lead by the example of how you would like it. It might spread like wild fire, you never know.

Now I would like to go back to some real arguing and debating

+100 Great post Tony!

Too many times people new to the site start making judgements without knowing the facts and get their panties in a wad and want to rant and rave like children about this or that but have no clue of what is really happening, especially when there are people out there trying to ruin the industry that we are trying to protect as it pays our bills, feeds our families and provides work to keep us busy building our businesses.

Once people have done some searching the older threads and understand what is really going on, they usually apologize like adults and understand that there are a lot of us trying to keep things going in the right direction and will hopefully not jump to conclusions in the future.

+100 You are absolutely right as usual Ron!

People need to know the facts or understand what is really happening before getting their panties in a bunch and wanting to have a hissy-fit for the industry to see, unless they are just starving for attention and want people to listen to them for a while.

Too many just don't know what is happening in their industry because they are busy working or not reading what is happening on the bbs's or maybe just don't care but we are trying to keep things going good and keep people from ruining things and if people know this and what is happening they would understand and probably even helped if they cared at all.
