After a search, I realize I am not the first to have this problem, but I couldn't find where someone posted the solution...
OK...Wayne burner, 3000 psi, 8 gpm HydroTek. Gray smoke, then it sounds/looks like my rig has an afterburner! (Kind of cool, but yet not.) Temp is set to 125 to 150...
So I'm working yesterday and all of a sudden, the engine starts to "bog down" with the trigger open. Release the trigger and it ran fine. Eventually, it died, but I was able to restart. It then would run and seemingly choke to death, but the chock didn't move. Gets plenty of gas - appears to...
I installed a Rapid Reel supply reel on my trailer over 2 years ago and have used it almost daily with no problems other than an occasional tightening of a fitting and a hose wearing out. As I recall, it was a standard reel with a no-swivel base.
This pic was taken prior to installation on the...
Think about who YOU would rather hire to work on your: house, car, appliance - just about any service you could think of. A service person in uniform implies that they might actually know what they are doing; that they do it for a living; that they represent a real company, and that they are not...
I have a new 8gpm/3000psi 2-man rig that would like to:
a) have an unloader that relieves the "kick". On my 4gpm/3500 rig, I am using a K5 and love it. As I understand it, a flow unloader won't work on a 2-man rig, but there is another (not pressure) type?
b) limit the volume to 4 gpm from...
I was asked to refer someone to clean a 3800 sf stucco home in San Diego. If you are skilled at cleaning this type of structure and are licensed and insured, please let me know and I will give you an email address.

Are there NO pw's in San Diego on this board? I guess I...
I have a commercial account with stores in Richmond and 2 are made with Dryvit. I am looking for someone with Dryvit experience to refer to them - must be licensed and insured. I'm not looking for compensation, I just want my customer taken care of.
The stores open at 10 am and 11 on Sunday and...
I will admit up-front that I have never tried HD-80.
Last year, I used Remove from SunBrite and was very pleased with the results, though it didn't do a very good job of stripping the tougher finishes.
This year, I ordered SunBrite's new Severe Strip and it is truly an amazing product. I...
I was contacted through my website by a homeowner in the Chicago area with a dryvit home and she is interested in a low-pressure wash.
Please email or call me if you are interested AND capable.

For the past few days, I have been noticing a foul odor emanating from my rig. The first time, I attributed it to a leaking septic system or possibly the tide being out.
Yesterday, I noticed the odor again, in a neighborhood away from the water and with city sewer, and realized that it was...
Does it matter how long I run my rig if it is in bypass to the tank? I have a small job in the am and the temps will be about 20. I want to start the pw and run it in bypass for about 20 mins to get to the jobsite.
Thanks,
John
I guess I've seen it all now.
I washed a house yesterday - white vinyl. I've cleaned hundreds just like it, except...this one turned color!
I downstreamed my usual housewash mix, which has bleach in it, and when I went back to rinse, ALL the siding had an orange stain. I've never seen...
I have seen other posts where this has been discussed, but I wanted to ask specific questions to see if any of you have direct knowlege of what to do. (I have a call in to the folks at Prosco.)
The concrete (4000 psi) was poured a few months ago and was splattered on the new-construction brick...
I have seen posts recommending using different sized tips to regulate pressure - rather than adjusting the unloader. As I understand it, lowering the pressure also lowers the flow.
Can anyone tell me which tips to use? I have a 4gpm/4000 psi machine. I would be interested in having...
I know some of you don't need it, but Sam's has a heavy duty hose cart; holds 400'. Like the $130 - 140 ones, but with pneumatic tires - very well built and only $69. I've never seen one like it.
However you spell it, where can I get it. I'm looking for 25 or 50 lb. Since Home Depot has stopped selling RustAid, I guess I'll have to make my own.
My new-and-improved website
Please visit my new website. Many changes were made, but I'm sure there are more that should be. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks.
