Garden hose reel

I am looking for a garden hose reel that I can mount to my trailer. Does anyone know where to buy one at a reasonable price?

I've always used pressure reels for water supply and used a mpt to garden hose thread fitting.

I think the ones you find at the box stores can't stand up to the abuse.

Dito. I have went through my share of garden hose reels go with a pressure reel and you wont regret it.

I might try a pressure reel. I might buy a cheap one because its only for garden hose. What size will fit 200 feet?

Spend the money and buy a quality one. Otherwise you will be constantly replacing them.

I have one that was like 70 to 80 bucks from Lowes I took the wheels off of it and mounted it.It works pretty good.It is all steel construction though don't know how long it will last.

I did the same thing. Mine lasted about 4 months with roof mix run through it. I just ordered a hp reel to replace it.

I woundn't run chems though

That is the same reel I had made the mistake of buying. It lasted 2weeks. No chems used at all. By the way the base is made of pot metal.

I installed a Rapid Reel supply reel on my trailer over 2 years ago and have used it almost daily with no problems other than an occasional tightening of a fitting and a hose wearing out. As I recall, it was a standard reel with a no-swivel base.

This pic was taken prior to installation on the tongue. I will try to remember to take an after pic asap.

High Pressure reel with garden hose adapters is definitely the way to go.

Make sure to get one big enough. Garden hose takes up more room than pressure hose.
