We wear them, but we had a bunch made with cotton before using chlorine, and now that we use the aoole sauce, we now have blue and white/pink shirts. yipee....we just had some white ones made to hold us until we find some poly blends that wont bleach...any suggestions?

God Bless You Hood guys. I have done dirty dirty jobs, Bridge Painter blasting away at bird crap, power plants scraping dead fish off of scrubbers to paint them, BUT I cant stand the smell of restaurant grease or the feel of it. You got a heck of a job. I just cant do that. I dont even take Dumpster pad clean up jobs if its a resaurant, must be from my days as a kid being a busboy. Smelly stuff. Keep doing a good job you greasers

Think about who YOU would rather hire to work on your: house, car, appliance - just about any service you could think of. A service person in uniform implies that they might actually know what they are doing; that they do it for a living; that they represent a real company, and that they are not just working for beer money.

I have my logo embroidered onto navy blue Dickies, which aren't affected by bleach. (12.5% sometimes does.)

This is our interior painting uniform. Exterior work would be similar, but with protection of chemicals as required.

I agree. I always keep a clean set with me, even on days off, just in case I schedule a last minute estimate. I was looking at dickies. Are they pretty comfy?

We finally got uniforms ... We got Black Dickies Pants and 2 types of t-shirts
One is Black and has the B&R Logo on the Front .. With Vent Hood Cleaning Service on the back ... Then we have the Red T- shirts with the B&R logo on the front and Fire Protection on the back.... I also had 2 Dickies Black Jackets made with B&R logo on the Front...

I am also looking at getting some Black Dickies pull over suits with logo front and back for outside work, like concrete cleaning and interior floor cleaning..

We are also considering having caps and ink pens made for our customers...

for you guys with patches, were do you get those made? I want to go coverall or dickies this year and would rather have patches made so I can swap them when the old pair of clothes wears out.

If you are doing night work, why in the world would you make it hard for someone to see you by wearing black? I can understand if you are inside doing hoods, but doing concrete and stuff outside, light colors at worst and reflective stuff if you can.

Scott we wear the Red for outside cleaning .. I got black for the hood cleaning so the dont show grease spots that bad... But when we clean parking lots at night on occasion we always wear our reflective suspendors.. Got the at walmart foe about 11.00 ... The work great... Plus now that I have worked my ass off I need them to hold my pants up... Nothing worse than cold air down your back side at 3 am in the morning...

I wear dickie pants and they just about last forever and do not fade like jeans. I always wear a white shirt, button down collar, neatly pressed to work. I start with this great looking shirt and I end up with this horrible looking shirt. I always keep two fresh shirts in the truck so I can change during the day. People are always shocked when I show up with white shirt.

I am in the process of getting uniforms made. I think it is much more professional, and makes the customers feel more comfortable. I plan on wearing mine just about everywhere...advertising.
