Are you saying that you can do the plastic welding? I have wanted to learn how to do that because I have some ideas of things to make. If this is true, what brand of plastic welder do you use/recommend? Any good places/dvd's to learn from?

Thanks.

omg i cant even tell you that cause i dont know.. to be honest this build was such a slow moving process. i have atleast 2 years in messing with this build...i sell used cars exotics, classics, daily drivers. so i work on the truck when i can , but mostly its everyday... hey chris yes i build the boxes under my friends supervision who is in the business.. you need alot of woodworking tools to make plastic.. the welding requires a few steps . first you clean the surface with lacquer thinnner then you use a tip on the gun to tack it in place ,that also makes the groove for the plastic weld to join the surfaces. then you change the tip and weld the rod in place.. different projects require different amounts of welds...there is def a skill to do this as you have to know the speed and heat to use to weld things together....

hey chris the tank in the front of my truck i built with my friend as well . that is totally built from the ground up that took about a week to build . when we were done we needed a forklift to get it in .. the original design was another tank that butted up against the one in the front and all the equipmet was supposed to go on top .. the problem was the floor in my truck ... once i finish this rig and get it working i have some new designs on my next build that will be totally awesome !!! i am seriously considering building an all electric setup

hey rick they are really good so far.. my buddy got them for me from the fire company. they are supposed to be emergency lighting and made to be outfitted on mobile applications
