pics of rig almost completed!!!

hopefully i will get alot done this week !!! im waiting for my stainless for 3 weeks already .... its amazing how busy these architectural metal shops are ..... i thought we were in a bad economy !!!

i will hopefully be posting some new pics of progress ....

Nice set-up!! I'm getting ready to put together another rig set-up in about 3 weeks after we slow down here. I am going to probably go back to a Box truck set-up again and unload my Flatbed truck in the process. Its coming down to whether this truck I'm about to buy passes the inspection on it before purchase.

R U going to any Roundtables coming Up?? Where going to ACR's roundtable in PA Nov. 22. Be cool to see that set-up close up.

hey john thanks.... im trying to finish this nightmare up..lol a few years back i went to acr s round table.. i recognize you by the pic...i went when bill clemens was there with the swabby 48....were basically neighbors .. we should hook up sometime and do lunch .... good luck on your new rig .. if i can be of any help to you give me a shout ...... 917 295 0620

Looking foward to the pics. That is an awsome settup. :) Looks like you would need a college degree to run it though...:D

hey larry thanks... its not hard to run .. its hard 2 fix....

LOL... I wouldn't want to see something leaking and have to try and figure out where it's coming from in that thing. Very impressive looking though. I like it! :)

hey larry .. believe it or not its pretty straight forward..... from the machines to the hose reels i use stainless schedule 80 pipe that is bent .. there are no elbows in the system ... or other connections.. i do this to prevent leaks and not drop pressure ... i have to take more pics..winterizing isnt that bad either.... im changing the chemical injection system and am having custom valves made to never crap out on chemicals .. they will be exclusively made for our company..... im wating in the hands of others.. which i hate but i dont have a shop to fabricate .. i basically work outdoors...

Chris--a couple of questions about your truck if if you don't mind. What type of Box truck is it and what size box is on it?? Is it an automatic and what size engine is in there?? If you had to guess how many MPG is that truck getting on city and highway driving. I am Curious because I am in the process of possibly buying a 98 Freightliner FL60 that has a Cummings diesel and a 16' Box. Truck is in great shape for the 360,000 miles that are on it. The truck was stored in a Warehouse when not on the road. Time to keep some of my equipment protected from the weather again since we just blew up my Silver Eagle Lombardini engine which probably had some problems due to it being stored outside and not tarped up when not in use.

hey john , the truck is a mitsubishi fuso fh. it has a 6 cyl diesel with an allison automatic .. i went on a big serach for this truck cause the 4 cyl models dont have such a great transmission ... they say allison is the best you can get... its a 15 ft fiberglass box..... i looked into all the trucks you mentioned but i wanted a truck that would be easy to put someone in and drive.. besides this thing rides better than my car.. the turning is incredible .. as far as mpg's i never estimated that but its better on fuel than my friends ford econoline van that has a v8.. i truely love this truck and would buy nothing but cab overs..... it has a gvw of 19,500 .....i took everything in account when selecting a truck ...i wanted to be able to put multiple drivers if needed and i wanted to be able to manuver around yards and traffic.. to me this is the best choice you can make ............... hey ron im sorry i suck with the computer .. its a whole process for me to dl pictures.. i will try my best to add a signature.. thanks

i think i will some better pics by the weekend

hey guys here is the pic of my custom made prefilter box and stainless cage that was tig welded to the bottom of the box .. the front door opens to remove the box for servicing
