Where is Fayth?

Monticello (Thomas Jefferson's house) to Frederickburg, VA.

We're going to NY tomorrow morning. We are trying to decide between a Staten Island Ferry ride and walk in Manhattan or a Spirit Tour Cruise. We will only be there for the good part of the day so we wil probably do the walk. I don't know where you're at but I'd love to meet you.

Hey Tony what time do you think you will be in manhattan tomorrow and what time do you guestimate your leaving the "Big Apple"(Manhattan). If your there in the afternoon there is a small shot I might be able to get away with Kathy and maybe even my girls or at least one of them. How old is your daughter in the picture?? You can shoot me a text tomorrow on my cell @631-804-1777. Maybe we can hook up at the Empire state building and head upwards-----Now that would be cool..
 
Sleeping through 6 states and,a district after partying all night with her cousins. She can't do that out west!

Wouldn't you know it. I find a west Coast Powerwasher looming in my neighborhood hanging out on top of the Empire state building and looking down on my accounts... Can't have none of that here.

What a nice Time we had meeting Tony,Shelly and Fayth right at the Empire State Building. A perfect spot. Actually I pointed down to an account to Tony that we do every month. We have a couple scattered around the big Apple.

It was a pleasant time and simply amazing this trip that Tony and his family is on that we wanted to catch up with them as they were passing thru. There welcomed back anytime... and it was fun beating on that 800lb gorilla that was stairing me and Tony down at the Empire state building.

Then as the night flew by they left the way they came.... with class.

Some more pics of the Big Apple. My Daughter Brianna Really got along great with Tony's daughter Fayth. Truly classy people and once again it shows you don't always really get the true feeling about someone until you actually meet.

The first picture here is from a distance since it was rainy but the clouds started to lift is the Statue of Liberty off in the distance. The second picture half way accross is one of my accounts(Tony is the only one who knows where in there) but more importantly further down is the World Trade Center rising up from the ashes.

The last picture is our Good bye. The Sheltons came in with class so they should leave the way they came in.. with class.

1:15 am and finally in a hotel somewhere in Delaware.

John saved this leg of the trip. I cancelled the lunch cruise tour of the bay because of time uncertainties and rode the Staten Island Ferry instead and we got poured on. We didnt look too happy here:

We got to see ground zero and that didn't lift our spirits much.

From there we walked to meet John's family (about 4 miles) because it was almost impossible to get a cab at that hour.

Meanwhile it was pouring rain and my phone went dead about 10 blocks before our meeting place. There went not only the gps, but the only place I had Johns phone number stored.

I'll continue this story and let you know how John saved the day after we get a few hrs sleep.

Got another day like this one coming tomorrow too!

That looked fun, John your a great guy. Tony couldn't say enough about taken care of him last night. John get on a plane and come have some fun with us in Tampa . I'll buy the first and last round. Don't tell me you can't take it off, I know after 25 years they are not going to fire you.
 
Why would you walk 4 miles in NYC? Go underground, figure out where and how you want to get there, and ride the subway. It is safe, and something that you need to experience. Shoot, there is enough time to walk in other places.
