Once it dries, it turns into a salt base again, morning dew and rain reactivates and "washes" it all over again. I find that it looks best after about 4 rains..this of course is my therory.

I have been thinking of the roller set up for the new year. I had one Delavan 5850 run for about 3 months before the motor fried, the second one which is still mounted is starting to have the same issue. So, I just need to figure how to try the roller and bypass without creating a huge amount of suds! Either the roller or I will go with the fatboy, but I am getting a little "Burnt" on the 12 v systems.
 
too many pump-motors fry from too small a delivery hose backing-up-pressure against the motor..
10% too much pressure can be a 22% overheat !

Invest in better-faster-more-efficient systems,
and you have greater profitability,
..and momentum, out of this seemingly damned recession. Eh?

If your breaking honda motors its because your running them much to hard. In my experience as long as you keep oil and gas in the motor it runs. Even if the muffler does keep falling off. lol
 
I was referring to the 12volt pumps.

but since you brought it up..
When Honda went to cheesier internals on their 13hp motors,
2 bolts holding the exhaust on was a problem (..actually a nightmare) of vibration.

I like engines that are EASY to keep running,
less expensive for parts,
and don't involve dealing with arrogant people.
Tru-Power sucks.. and the mufflers falling off, was the last straw..
They cheated me out of warranty claims,
and told me my equipment designs were to blame..
Now, I have 20 years of proof they were wrong.

I push..
Kohler, beefy, powerful, reliability.
Vanguard line by Briggs, for easy to get, low cost parts
..which always eliminates downtime faster,
and Subaru .. the quietest AND easiest to start engines of all.

Why wouldn't you want suds?
 
My Chinese Honda's run better and longer then the ones i have had in the past, and we have had everything from 4hp to 24hp

Honda regional dist once told me and I quite "Honda' just doesn't make mistakes, Otha's to be you". Well OK then that was 2004 had 10 Honda's , and have never since bought another and never will.

Kohler or Kubota the way to go. I have 1 Briggs and warranty is a problem there as well, so many dealer around here will not do B&S warranty's. The Kohler's may have a charging flaw, but never renege on a warranty.

Really want to build and all electric system with a 40k generator set. I see MINT gens at autions all the time for CHEAP


AND by the way, ASWELL did you get that from the HOTSY guy?
