When cleaning driveways and sidewalks a surface cleaner is used.
When cleaning up the dirty edges the surface cleaner left behind a spray wand is used and that's when the hassle starts with mud flying and sometimes flooding. This is the slow tedious sloppy part of pressure washing.
THE SURFACE EDGER CLEANS A STRIP THREE AND A HALF INCHES WIDE FROM THE EDGE OF THE SIDEWALK INWARDS. VIRTUALLY NO MUDDY MESS AND NO FLOODING.
