Gotta give credit to that little Shurflo,..holding up to 12.5%. How many roofs have you done with it? Anyhow, yes that wand you have will work fine. If you're getting 24-30 Ft. from that pump at the top of a ladder that's not bad and about all you can expect from that pump. Working in calm conditions makes a big difference in shooting distance as well.
You need to get a stainless female quick coupler and a J-Rod on the end so you can easily switch nozzles. A J_rod has more than one nozzle,..how many you want is up to you. Usually a 0 degree and a a fan pattern of your choosing.
Not sure about the Fabuloso,..But I do like a change of smell once in a while. My smell of choice is is lemon, always smells clean,..but while I was at Home Depot one day this past Summer I bought some Pinallen Lavender,..recommended by Art Oliveri,..and Art is right,..it does change the smell very well,..from bleachy to more of a cleaning solution type smell,..if that makes "scent" Ha,Ha,...
* I don't change the smell because of the customer,..never had a customer complain,..I do it because I like a change for myself once in a while. I typically use it in a house wash mix,..Doesn't seem to hurt anything,..but not sure in a roof mix if it just sits there for any period of time,....I think Art said it's fine with his mix,..so that's what I'd go with. But you are using 12.5%,..gonna be a tough time trying to cover that smell.
**I think after while trying to use a cover scent gets tiresome,...I think most guys end up using whatever smell their chosen detergent makes.
