Ron Paul For President ?

I cannot say enough good things about him. I'm backing him up 100%. I truly hope people open there eyes and vote for the man. Hilary and Obama are the only 2 people the main stream media wants you to believe are running. Check out his youtube videos there great! He's raising mad money and I think he may have a chance. I'm sure hoping so. Jeff and I have talked some about him at PTState. All I have to say is if we don't get somebody like him in office America has no hope.

-Supports the constitution 100%.
-Supports brining our troops home immediately.
-Supports closed borders and sending the illegals back.
-Doesn't support policing the world.
-He wants to bring back the gold standard so the Dollars stops depreciating.

i THINK HE IS TO MUCH. i LIKE A LOT OF WHAT HE BELIEVES IN, SOME i DONT. tHE ONE THING i LIKE ABOUT HIM, IS HE IS TRUE TO HIS WORD, BUT HIS WORD IS A LITTLE OE A LOT TO EXTREME. He wants to pull troops out of everywhere across the globe. Althou it would be nice, it isn't practical. We cant pull out of every country in the world, we have to many interest

He's the only candidate that I think speaks the truth and has shown that he does year after year. Hell I might just vote for????????????? Hell I dont know what to do this election. I will probably just vote for what ever I think is the lesser of two evils, Sad but true

He thinks we should be allies with other countries and not stir up trouble like Bushy Boy. I can see why other countries hate us. I don't blame them. We are invading their country for no reason other then lining Bush's pocket. It's not for our safety if anything we are asking for retaliation. Stop spending money that our grandchildren’s children are going to have to pay back. What's the reason we are in IRAQ today. Did IRAQ have anything to do with 9/11? NO!

Don't like him. I can understand opposing war, but this due is so isolationist tts ridiculous. He is the ONLY congressman who voted against an important bill for problems in Sudan this summer. When asked why, he said it was a declaration of war. The only one out of all republicans AND democrats.

He thinks we should be friends with other countries and not stir up trouble like Bushy Boy. I can see why other countries hate us. I don't blame them. Let's stop spending money that our grandchildrens children are going to have to pay back.

I'm sure we'll make tons of friends when we stop helping hundreds of countries like we do now. Ron Paul could care less about anyone else, so what makes you thinks he will seek friendship with them?

And the argument that our grandchildren will pay for our spending is a completely falsity. People have been using that argument for generations. The government will simply refinance the debt like they always do.

Ron Paul believes that the 9-11 event was a inside job – and we are talking about him as the Commander In Chief-please!

From Dr Ron Paul's site

The war in Iraq was sold to us with false information. The area is more dangerous now than when we entered it. We destroyed a regime hated by our direct enemies, the jihadists, and created thousands of new recruits for them. This war has cost more than 3,000 American lives, thousands of seriously wounded, and hundreds of billions of dollars. We must have new leadership in the White House to ensure this never happens again.

Both Jefferson and Washington warned us about entangling ourselves in the affairs of other nations. Today, we have troops in 130 countries. We are spread so thin that we have too few troops defending America. And now, there are new calls for a draft of our young men and women.

We can continue to fund and fight no-win police actions around the globe, or we can refocus on securing America and bring the troops home. No war should ever be fought without a declaration of war voted upon by the Congress, as required by the Constitution.

Under no circumstances should the U.S. again go to war as the result of a resolution that comes from an unelected, foreign body, such as the United Nations.

Too often we give foreign aid and intervene on behalf of governments that are despised. Then, we become despised. Too often we have supported those who turn on us, like the Kosovars who aid Islamic terrorists, or the Afghan jihadists themselves, and their friend Osama bin Laden. We armed and trained them, and now we’re paying the price.

At the same time, we must not isolate ourselves. The generosity of the American people has been felt around the globe. Many have thanked God for it, in many languages. Let us have a strong America, conducting open trade, travel, communication, and diplomacy with other nations.

I like Ron Paul I do think he speaks alot of truth I also think bringing all of our troops home will put everyone of us in danger also all the countrys that hate us now have always hated us even thou i like him I will not vote for him unless he is the repuplican canidate I'm sticking with FRED for know

BTW I'm a BUSH supporter

OMG...PLEASE tell me you're not really this stupid....

Im by far the youngest one here and will never support Paul. Considering most of my friends who support him are the laziest drunkards you'll ever meet, i'm fairly certain their views regarding the direction of the country are less than educated.

OMG...PLEASE tell me you're not really this stupid....

I'm sorry you must be a bush lover either that or believe everything your told? Do you still believe Obama is in afganistan hiding in a cave too or that the Twin Towers brought down building 7 two blocks away and that Norad was ordered to stand down? or the killing of Kennedy. I don't give a crap what people say about me for the way I view the government it is what it is. All you can come back with is a "OMG...PLEASE tell me you're not really this stupid..." Charlie just because your the youngest person here and you don't support Ron Paul I can still bet you a vace majority of Ron Paul supports are in OUR age group. I dought these people putting up MILLIONS of dollars for his campaign or less then educated... Hey Mike you voting for Hilary too?

And no I don't support the Fahrenheit 9/11 film by Michael Moore, because I can bet that was your next line. It was more of a coverup of the truth and moreless just showed Bush was lazy and nothing more. The people that have woken up was once just like some of you guys. Dis-proove me on Loose Change the movie or the movies Alex Jones has put out. The facts are out there a good place to start is Google do some research.

I have an oponion I just dont feel I should voice it here , I dont have a problem with all of you discussing it but as admin of the board I dont feel it a positive topic for me to discuss , seeing as some may take it personally and not wnat to post here because of my political views

I think that's a fair stand.

Ron Paul reminds me of one of those guys that wants to meet a god in a spaceship somewhere...all you gotta do is drink this potion. Even though there are some things that I agree with, he is too out there for me. It would be like having a little bit of toilet water mixed with my Lipton Green Tea...as much as I like the tea, I wouldn't drink it because of the toilet water.

The tea thing was good - well made point! Ron Paul has no chance-only because of what he speaks.
