The PWNA is about to start a new program. Keep checking out the PWNA web site in comming weeks. Should be there soon.

Scott, I'm almost certain that there BBS has been shut down years ago. Ron would know more about this but from what I am hearing the PWNA will be represented at more RT's and there going to have more face to face contact. The BB for them didn't seem to work out. You can always email them a question if you have one or even call. I just emailed them a question last week and I just got my answer this week. Yes a little slower but a more exact answer that I was looking for.

The PWNA does not and will not have a BBS. We tried that and it didn't work for us. Didn't have the time or energy for it. I know it disapointed some people but it was the best thing for the org at that time. I don't feel there is a need for any more BBS as there are a few now that do a great job.

The PWNA BBS was a FANTASTIC BBS for a long time in it's day, and at one point much of the new membership came from it. PWNA was close to 500 members then. Mike Hinderliter was the admin, then he handed it to me and I was admin for a year or so, then I handed it over and it tanked after that.
It's a shame. It was a wealth of data. But there are lots of great posts here and on http://www.thegrimescene.com/forums/

The pwna is honing to rounds around the country, others in the industry will have meetings supporting the shows.
You forgot me Beth, I got 32 associate banners at the top when I was admin, mike and I started the pwna bbs. The first official pwna forum was right here on pwi. I pulled out when we reached 450, mike only took care of it for awhile after I left. You did do a great job, after you r
left is when trouble started.
That's all in the past, pwna has a couple great bbs tgs @ pwi to inform members. Paul is likley right no need for there own at this stage.

It's real, since you attended a nce event you can get a year for 250.00 then you can feel warm and fuzzy.

The PWNA has put out 3 Nominees for 2 Board of director spots. Go to www.pwna.org to read there bio's. Of course you have to be a member to vote. Its amazing that one of the Nominees is only 21 and he seems highly motivated at such an early age. I like guys like that. The other two are loaded with experience. Tough choice.
