Going to Vegas to just eat at Chicago Joe's would be worth the trip in my book. Cruising around in your Crown Vic wasn't bad either. Funny thing is that I never cleaned a garage before.....maybe I should try it just for the experience!
 
From the pics on the other boards I am starting to get it now. Each attendee got to drive a Dodge truck IN a garage.

Hands of on experience.

Pretty cool. I guess you can"t drive one at a dealership in California.

If Jim let people sit in his that would have put the event over the top!

His warehouse alone could probably fit 100-150 people comfortably if he was to host an event in Mesa. Scott's got nothing but respect from me and I am very happy to see someone so successful!

This event just won't go away.

Today Jim posted this on another pressure washing board claiming it was a storm drain in Las Vegas.

Well, this is very interesting. Especially since:

1) After living here 17 years, that doesn't look like any storm drain inlet I've ever seen. It looks more like a private property inlet to pretreatment.
2) Why is that wet? Especially since it hadn't rained in Las Vegas for almost a month before the Las Vegas Event.

Who had equipment there capable of wetting down the pavement and pushing this down into the drain just for a funny picture?

Water just doesn't materialize here out of the dry desert air. Since there was zero precipitation before, during, or after the event, where could this water in this unprotected drain have come from?

And what kind of person lies like this?

Anyway, I did a search for the Garage Cleaning event to make sure I had the right dates for the check on the precipitation and found this in a thread on another board that I never go to:

Chris Chappell and Jim shared my daughter's room at my 2009 Vegas event. We had five bedrooms and they were all full with people.

Since we didn't want to ask Jim and Chris to sleep in the same bed we added an air mattress to the floor. If I am no BADLY mistaken, Jim complained about the air mattess upon entering the room and Chris Chappel volunteered to sleep on the air mattress the whole time.

Chris is this correct?

We did have one issue at the house. I had a fairly new Bosch hot water heater that was around $1000. It was still under warranty. Something in it broke the first day so we were out of hot water for a while. I've never heard such incessant complaining from a grown man!!! Chris Chappel can tell you all about that! Since the part I needed wouldn't be at my door for a couple of days Chris and I, on top of all the other things we had to do for the event, took the thing apart in the middle of the night and bypassed the bad part so the princess could have hot water. Thanks Chris!!

And Jim never booked a room anywhere. A lot of people were interested in seeing his rig. We bent over backwards to get him to drive it down here.

First he wanted us to pay for his fuel. (we didn't) We played on his ego and got him to pay for his own fuel.

But then he wanted a place to stay and food so I offered him my place and Shelly cooked for him when we didn't take him out for dinner.

Then he wanted to back out because his subcontractor had an issue and couldn't make the 10-12 hr drive with him.

So, at the last minute a flight was paid for (not by Jim) for someone to fly to meet him to drive down.

But that person couldn't drive back with him, so he demanded that I drive back with him.

Once we got to his house from the 10 or so hour drive he offered me his spare bedroom to sleep in. ON THE FLOOR. So that is where I slept.

How he has the nerve to make up things about my house I'll never understand

After that he and his wife took me to a breakfast type restaurant and paid for my breakfast before I flew home.

That $8-12 or so for breakfast is the first and last dime Jim Gamble ever spent on me.

Again, what kind of person lies like this?

And what kind of people continue to allow this type of personality to be in a position that purports to represent our industry to officials?
 
Well, if Jim had recovered the water after the massive garage cleaning demo he did, it may not have looked...oh wait, there was no garage cleaned, as was repeatedly promised. Of course, he blamed others, but there are people that have no ability to accept responsibility.
 
It was all a scam. Their scammers. It's what they do. The world is full of them and a scammer is usually a liar. Those boys have made their beds and they'll have to lie in them. Like Tony said the truth always comes out in the end, and it has. Undisputed evidence has been provided to the fact that those guys are liars and are constantly up to no good. I think they want to be in the positions of certain BOD members of the UAMCC and they are not so they are always looking for a way to make UAMCC guys look bad. That's just a part of it. Drama queens, always stirring the pot. Anybody that is honest and has any common sense knows what they're all about. Wannabe's

You are correct Tony, I slept on the air mattress as Fayth's bed was too short for me but the air mattress was actually almost as comfortable as my Select Comfort bed (number bed you see on tv all the time and they are really great) so I slept great. Usually when I am out of town after a few days my back is hurting a lot but no pain at all and I had a wonderful time staying with Tony's great family!

It is amazing how Jim lies constantly and stupid people out there blindly believe him without even wanting to find out the truth for themselves, too bad more people out there don't look for the truth as they will find it easily here at PWI.

As always Tony, you speak the truth and are very honest about everything.

This scam of an event was promoted that it would be a "working garage cleaning event" and that everyone would be "hands on getting dirty" type of event so people were told to bring work clothes.

People paid over $350 or something like that to go and clean a garage to learn more about parking garage cleaning but got scammed, ripped off and were told more lies about why they were ripped off instead of just fessing up and telling the truth that they were lied to, scammed and ripped off. The people that put that event together should be sued for ripping people off like that. I had 3 guys call me and ask if they would get banned from over on PWC if they said they wanted their money back as they were very, very disappointed with the event but did not want to get bashed over on PWC and the other crazy forum that most of us don't go to anymore. I told them that they would probably be bashed, harassed, insulted and called names until they gave up on their request for their money back as those liars don't want people to know the truth. Apparently they asked other people and I got another couple of calls and I told them the same thing, it is up to them but they will be lied to more and harassed on the internet about wanting their money back and then being called all kinds of names until they gave up. It is like the only thing that some of those guys are great at are harassing people they don't like and the owners of those forums like PWC will allow it for those that they like and will help suppress the truth.
 
MYSTERY SOLVED!

So Shelly and I stopped by the Rio on the way home today and looked around for that storm drain. I knew it looked different than most and thought of what it might be for, but I didn't want to say till I checked for sure.

So here are the normal Las Vegas Storm drains we found on the property:

Then we came across this guy.......The infamous - worst storm drain ever seen by the Western Environmental Director of the PWNA and "swore to" by a PWNA Committee Member:

Looks pretty bad doesn't it? The claim was it was "overflowing with oil" - Well, lets see about that:


What a mystery........hmm......What could it be. Clear water, with a touch of algae.....what does that mean in a climate where 8% humidity feels like hell?

What could possibly be going into a drain 24/7? Could it be hundreds of cars leaking oil? Powerwashers working 24/7? Where could all this "overflowing oil" be coming from?

So I traced it back. I already knew for sure by now, but I wanted to trace it back anyway. Anybody care to guess at this point?

I traced it back to here.......The building's condensate drain which was only about 30 steps from the drain.

Yes, condensate from the air conditioners. That explains the unusual grate, AND the strange positioning of the drain in a place where rain runoff would be almost zero. Here's a pic walking back:

As we were driving around the outskirts of the property and through the garage looking for the storm drains Shelly said, "It has to be somewhere they would have walked right by. They are too lazy to tour the property looking at drains."

I told her, "there aren't any drains where they would have walked, there is no runoff there".

Just as I was about to give up we went to the walk they would have taken from the hotel exit to the garage and lo and behold there it is. Completely out of the norm. I knew it had to be a condensate drain at that point.


Meanwhile here is the big question.

Is the Western Environmental Chair for the PWNA too dumb to know the difference between clean HVAC condensate and oil? Or is he just a habitual liar? We really need to know. And what about the Committee member who "swore to it" after Jim lied.

Next question:

Let's assume, for a minute, that he is just that ignorant, frighteningly ignorant, - If he thinks that drain was "overflowing with oil" how many other things does he speak with authority about that he doesn't know from a hole in the ground....lol. For example - when he sent the video of tire rubber and dirt coming out of drain pipe that he claimed was "oil", to frighten the authorities. Oh yeah, we still have all the emails.

On the other hand what if he KNEW that was condensate. - The same condensate that is completely exempt from CWA regulations nationwide. - That would make him a complete and utter liar. The answer was only 30 steps away. Wouldn't any sensible contractor walk a bit and at least try to find out where this "overflowing oil" was coming from and try, for the sake of the environment, to STOP IT??????

Last point to ponder-

Which is worse? A liar? An idiot? One who is completely uneducated in their profession? One who "swears to" the lie? One who bans anybody who challenges the lie?

All these things are bad.

But the worst of all is the PWNA who know all these facts yet allow these types of people to communicate with authorities using the PWNA's name and TEACH unsuspecting young contractors who are unfortunate enough to trust that the PWNA will put qualified and honest teachers in front of them. ESPECIALLY when dealing with EPA issues.

PWNA's partnership with Jim Gamble - I thought it couldn't get worst than the one with Robert Hinderliter. But I was wrong.
 
So Guy was exactly right...meaning he was banned for speaking absolute truth. That my friends is a problem.

So hard to decide on which one but I gotta go with he just didn't know.

I mean REALLY? When we spoke with Ty he made it seem like they just let Robert (or Jim) go on and do as he pleases because "he's the expert".

Ty admitted that he knew very little about EPA issues.

Is that the way they all are?

Do they just let underlings at their own companies run the show and lie, manipulate, cheat or whatever else then claim "I know very little about that, so I leave it up to them". ? I find that hard to believe.

How then, are the national interests of power washers of so little importance, that they allow these uninformed egotists to converse with regulators and TEACH powerwashers?????

Would you want to see a PWNA logo on a company you are doing business with if their environmental directors had been caught:

1) Lying to Regulators
2) Threatening State Regulators to get their way by trying to turn them in to Federal Regulators
3) Lying about "shopping" bmp's
4) Lying to a Public official to get him to speak at a closed event by convincing him it was open to the public putting his job in jeopardy.
5) Lying about EPA issues (oil, etc)
6) Lying about the circumstances around a "workshop" a local jurisdiction wanted to put on.

It just goes on and on.

Then on top of that to strap us with that "cosmetic cle@ner" misnomer that could put anyone in drought out of work.

How many lies does it take to get to the middle of the PWNA tootsie pop? Or does anyone even care that we are represented to others by these deceivers?
 
Tony, PWNA IS OWNED BY Robert. THE PWNA is set up to do exactly as and what they are doing. For Robert to do what he wants to do. Oh and have a convention once a year
