Square is cool! It's great for small coffee shops and stuff like that too. Or anything door to door. When it goes public I am investing some money. http://blogs.wsj.com/digits/2013/11/06/square-exploring-2014-ipo-with-banks/
Been using them a couple years. Can't be beat IMO
Square is cool, been using it for 1.5 years or so, no regrets.
Tried to set it up and for some reason, I can't get it.Me too..
Have you guys tried the invoice feature? I believe it's new. I've been using square for 3 years, square invoice 1 month.
Hey Dave, if you already signed up, you probably can download the app and take CC's right away. Just gotta punch in the number until your swiper comes.I just signed up for Square today.
Thanks Ralph. Already got it installed on my Galaxy S5, and setting up the invoicing today. I'm hoping to land a contract cleaning a strip mall today or tomorrow. Going to have all my ducks in a row.Hey Dave, if you already signed up, you probably can download the app and take CC's right away. Just gotta punch in the number until your swiper comes.

Get that thing....good luck. Let is know how it goes.
I love square invoice too, trying to take a customers info over the phone in the past to me was "sketchy"...can i get you card number? expiration number? CV number? now your zip please... I know im a reputable company but to others who you never met and live in other states dont know who I am or what someone could do with that info...if it was me I would be like no thank you and send a check, like most did. Ever since the invoice feature came out I fell in love and super simple to get paid from customers.
Going to try it tomorrow. Got a repeat customer, that got a nastygram from his HOA. It is a rental, so it will be a perfect situation for it.
I love QB. Now it sends a pay link on invoices too. That has converted some of our diehard check payers into cc payers.Square invoice, paypal invoice is all handy. However you still have to post your sales invoice, deposit & transaction fees into your accounting software. I use quickbooks online as well as quick books payments flat 2.75 as well. But I create one invoice. Take the payment or the customer can pay online ( while your at thier property and they r at work). It records the payment , tx expense and reconciles the deposit. I also send out invoices automatically at 12:01 on the first day if the month or quarter to all maintenance customers. It saves a lot of steps. Oh. All from my iPhone , ipad, Mac or PC ( whatever that is ). American Express also has a QB app that integrates abd categorizes all of your Amex expessenses if you use Amex for your daily biz expenses. I love it.
