IN a general sense, the language that is being used here in this thread is considered offensive. It is certainly out of line with the original thread.
As for my posts on PWN, you will notice that though I do worship God, I certainly respect your right to choose to be godless. But, we won't discuss that here.

BTW, Go Devils...
 
Censoring laws are only applicable to the government. This is a private bb and when you join you agree to play in our sand box. The moderators make the rules-it is our right to censor anything that we consider offensive. I would say that the line in the sand is drawn.

Guys--

Let's not ruin this like has happened at other places. I'm going to try and mediate a common ground here as someone that ISN'T a moderator, cannot censor, etc......but doesn't like seeing tension. I like to free-wheel. So for myself, Jason, Russ, others involved.....let's consider this to be "a boundary":

1) We all like to joke around, great. Some of us are bigger pervs than others. Everyone has different tolerances for what "should" or "shouldn't" go. We don't want censoring, but I assume we don't want utter and complete debauchery either.

2) I think it is the sexually "raunchy" humor that repulses some. We can tone that down a little, right?? And let's work to look at it from the other person's point of view: Scott S. is devout and bothered by seeing Grogan talking about wanting to give Russ a Hot Carl or a Davey Crockett, etc. I say: Scott S--ignore the post if you can. Grogan--tone it down some so the likes of Scott, Anthony, etc. can particapate without feeling they running with wolves.

3) Basically, we all try and move to the center a little bit, nobody gets censored, the board stays the best, and everyone wins. I hope those of faith won't feel that this is fellowshipping too far from home, but just living in the world of pressure washers. Start a thread about your faith at some point--see what happens then. The raunchy crowd can keep things at "rated R", that's not too much to ask.

4) Do some of us even have jobs any more?????:)

5) What do you guys think?? Is this a reasonable common ground, before things get too far out of hand with censoring, etc????

I learned this one a while back back. Someone pulled a post of mine when i was served an insult, and i returned it. I was wrong in not knowing this persons status.
Funny thing is .....uhhh f*ck it.....just cuddle those with clout.
 
Ok I will do my best to tone it down. I was a good kid in school I guess I am acting out decades later. I'll be good but Russ...... you are...... a pretty good dude I guess.
 
Thank you Jon and Jason and everyone else. Use some common courtesy and we will all be happier.
PS. I don't want to be cuddled and I don't want to edit posts.
 
I prefer not to be cuddled either.
As for the crude posts, I can deal with them in my own way, but I hate to see somethign start to spiral out of control, and get out of hand. Also, there are other people besides the ones that post here that look at what is said, and sometimes they can and will make decisions based on the professionalism of the posters, considering what they say here as an indicator of how they act in public.

Scott I do apologize, I will make every effort to keep it professional from here on out..Warning i still have a sense of humor. I have lots to be thankfully for from this board. I am in grease as a result of this BBS. Grant, Ant, Matt, Chris---we met in person because of this board. Countless others...Ron, Russ,Lou, Dave, Alexy, Josh and more ( Bad Memory) we have all spoken on the phone....I love the network and do not want to lose it. PM me if you think I crossed the line....I guess the freedom here allowed me to get MYSELF into trouble. I do not plan to abuse my freedom here any longer.
