How many posts do you think you need to make to get your point across? WE GOT IT, you don't like the list! Robert offered to update the list but got no help from contractors. I will be very surprised if after I talk to Michael he doesn't take it down.

I don't think Mike should take it down, this pricelist could have a major positive to update it.

We have not followed up to change the prices and we should get it closer to reality.\

I will help with info I have, others need to contribute.

Basline pricing is good, this list was great for the industry 15 years ago.

Barry relax buddy, together we can change and make a difference.

DCS is not intentionally trying to hurt the industry.

I will over the holidays diliver my info...

Maybe some here should also think about there sistuation

The other thread turned into something that would help Contractors get over the "Price" issue but was deleted. Now you want to jump right back into it!!!

Ron, I know your heart is in the right place, but posting an updated price list for every lowball lurking hump that comes to this board, will be an extreme disservice to Members of PWI, NCE & Professional Contractors in general!!!

Is it just me, or does anyone else see how much that list helps Contractors???

Barry, if that list has affected your Business that much, then the problem is your Business not the list. If you didn't close the sale 3 mins. after the Customer brought up the $39.00 house wash, then you don't know how to sell. I'm not being personal Barry just telling it the way I see it.
 
You people amaze me.....I started 1 thread on this in my whole life and then posted in this one because the thread I started was deleted. I was done with it after that till Grant told me it was an accident and then he bumped this one.

That being said, this is a Discussion Board, if you (That Means Anybody) post something, you're (That Means Anybody) looking for a discussion about that subject, some will see it your way, some will not. Either way be ready for passionate and sometimes heated discussion about it. If you can't "Roll With The Punches" and have somewhat of a "Thick Skin" then think before you post. On a personal note I would not care what prices are out there, its my job to get what I need for my business to stay a float.

No not at all, Barry called me and was a totally Professional, a tad on the sensitive side, but a Professional none the less.

I'm in complete agreement Russ, I just don't think some kind of "Updated" list thing needs to be out there. The old one??? Whatever. Non-Issue.

We all get our "Throats Cut", we all get "Lowballed". Mike V said it best "We Are Businessmen". Businessmen that know how to run their businesses will be here as long as they want, the others will be gone. Simple as that.

They used to Danny , you have to remember Dcs was the only source. It's not truly hurting anyone because the info is so wide spread now that it's impact is very little.

It should reflect good info regardless.

Me too. Personally I don't let a competitor, a customer or an old website determine my pricing. If some dummy thinks the going price for a house wash is $39 let him go at it. He'll only do one.

What if it said the going price for a house wash is $1,000. How many Home Depot goofs would be out their knocking doors until they had it slammed enough times?
