I have heard of them and at the next BOMA meeting I will ask about the PM what there thoughts are.
I do a bit of muti units now on 60 days. Dumpster service is very popular here in the city with HOA.

That's awesome Chris. There are so many ways CD could have done this differently and served as a benefit to both the contractor and the management companies. But they chose to take the quick buck and operate without any thought of what they are doing to others.
Why don't you guys open up a competing company based on the golden rule and crush them?

I thought I posted in this thread, maybe it was another thread about compliance depot.
I had to deal with them last year for an apartment complex and my insurance companies (3) were faxing the paperwork 2 times a week for almost 2 months as the compliance depot people were CONTINUOUSLY LOSING THE PAPERWORK THAT WAS JUST FAXED TO THEM.
I forwarded the emails from my insurance companies with the scanned fax confirmations that compliance depot received the faxes but they kept on losing them.
The apartment complex got their corporate people involved finally and we found out that compliance depot uses a program that converts faxes into electronic documents but it was very faulty and they knew about it but acted like it is no big deal, they kept on saying to just keep faxing them and they will finally have them. How unprofessional!
Finally on a conference call with everyone that was involved we got things in order and finally were able to start the job but my insurance people were really getting fed up with compliance depot's nonsense, severe lack of professionalism, constantly losing faxes on a daily and weekly basis and the numerous emails stating that they had not received the faxes when we got confirmation letters back that they did. We even did faxes to their old fax machines and called to confirm that they had the fax in their hands and they still lost them before the week was over. This was very aggravating to say the least.
Months later I found out that a large apartment company signed on with them so then I started getting emails to sign up with compliance depot so I can do work with that apartment company.
I was told on the phone by the people at compliance depot that I only had to sign up with them 1 time, no matter how many apartment complexes or companies they represent. What a lie!
Now I was told that for each apartment company they represent I have to sign up, pay the fee and go through the insurance fiasco I just went through with them earlier that year.
I told them about being lied to and they told me that this person is no longer with the company and it has always been that way, blah blah blah. Covering up for their incompetence is how I saw it.
This company is such a scam in many different ways, they keep on losing paperwork, their people are not on the same page and it makes working with companies so hard to do it is not worth it in a lot of cases.

I didn't renew with them this year. The last few properties I bid the managers said they got someone for about 1/2 my price.
This is like a big school district I just bid. 4,000,000 square feet of concrete per year with gum/graffiti removal. Low bid was under $.08 a square foot. My bid was over triple that. The bid opening was public and the clowns that bid it under $.08 a square foot were there. They were excited they were the low bid. I walked out of there thinking you poor idiots you don't know what you just got yourself into. Sad thing is that they weren't even a pressure washing company lol. They were a waste management company.

I am not going to renew with them, especially since the 2 apartment complexes that I did last year (one was with them and the other just signed up later on in the year with them) are going to paint the buildings this year and I am not in the game of sq.ft. pricing with painters.
Maybe if other properties call, I will consider it.

It was a good account while it lasted. I will be going to talk to them soon. Most of the schools had never been cleaned and we are talking years and decades on some of the schools with gum accumulating.

The B.S hoops that they make you jump through are a pain in the ass. Like Mark said, the wording has to be 100% correct or you have to re submit it. My insurance agt. misspelled a word and it was denied. However, more and more complexes are using it, I have two that communities that require it. I don't like it but, $95.00 and some bull are cheaper than finding another contract somewhere else.
