1100 for Mcdonalds

I am thinking the same thing Scott. The overall exterior condition of these McDonalds are horrible. I want and am going to try to schedule a demo the day after they have their in house people wash it.

Ron, almost all the McDonalds here in north Florida are run by a single company. I have talked to them a couple times in the past but they said they get a lot of the work done in house. Is there any way you know of to get a company to quit doing pressure washing in house and outsource it?

There's no secret to this Jason, it's called selling your service. Give them a reason to hire you, sell them on the reason to hire you.

A lot of guys just don't get it.... "I can do a better job than your In-House people" Ain't selling, and it ain't gonna get you the Job!!!

There are a lot of Contractors that are "Hard Working Pressure Washers" but there are few that are "Hard Working Pressure Washers That Can Sell"

My Dad was one of the best "Salesmen" ever, this is his definition of a Salesman................

A Good Salesman Is A Cross Between A Holiness Preacher, A Used Car Salesman, And A Politician...... Least Thats What Good Ole Dad Used To Say, sure do miss him.

A good salesman can also up sell their accounts when a low baller tries to steal them from you. Thanks Bo you just put another 15k in my pocket.

Where you from in J-ville? I lived there for many years and I know the McDonalds are nasty there. I actually was called by the manager for the McDonalds off of Blanding/Collins Road when I was there to get the main sign pole repainted. He could not afford the quality and had someone jack it up (Paint it) for him lol.

I remember this thread, it is a great one!

I was just thinking about something. If I could go to one of the stores and have the helper watch the trailer so I can get the manager outside to "show him something", maybe then I could fire up the hot water rig and do a quick spot with the surface cleaner and hot water.

Then the interesting thing will happen.

Either he will get mad for me taking him outside to show him something that might not be something serious like what he was probably thinking.

Or

He might get mad at me wasting his time (in his eyes) and go back inside.

Or

I could tell him after I shut down the machine that this is clean and if they are ok at accepting the level of dirtiness and unsanitary conditions that they are used to or would they like the places cleaned professionally.

They might have forgotten what clean looks like until there is a clean spot to compare it to.

What do you think Ron? I believe that these stores are franchises.

Chris if you show and educate the customer good ones will apprecieate you!!

So yes....I would leave the offensive remarks and allow his own eyes to see the truth.

Thanks Ron!

Sure wish I could be in Charleston learning from you, maybe next year.

Guy, tell us or pm me how you would sell this account. I would like to know how lots of people would approach this situation.

Thanks.

Not sure the effect would come across on the net Chris. But you could set up a comparison cleaning... You vs. In House, don't say you can clean it better show them.

Show them on paper how much they will save by having your Company do the cleaning on a regular basis. Break it down.

Give them a reference list of your other customers, they all know each other, they will call and check.

Its also about the way you project yourself....Look, Dress, Speak, Truck & Rig

Let them know that the most important thing to you, Is Their Complete Satisfaction. And make them believe it!!!!!

You know we do mostly Residential, but I don't turn Commercial away, but its on terms that are beneficial to our Company. I never sell on price, I sell on Quality Of Work And Customer Service. Making it a "No Brainer" to choose our Company for all of their Exterior Cleaning needs.

Thanks Guy, that is good info.

Really trying to take in as much as possible about these and dumpsters I want these accounts and filthy detroit has them.
