Restaurant grease enclosures take a beating — especially behind a busy Mesa, Arizona eating place. Fat, oil, and grease (FOG) run down the sides of the bin, soak into the concrete pad, and turn a service alcove into a slip hazard and a health-inspector red flag.

Here’s a recent Pro Power Wash job at a Mesa eating place: the dumpster pad and grease enclosure, before and after.

Before and after: Mesa, Arizona eating place dumpster pad & grease enclosure

Before: Heavy grease staining on the concrete, grimy grease bin, residue up the walls and around the bollards — the classic back-of-house mess that property managers and restaurant owners call about.

After: Pad rinsed clean, enclosure brightened, bin area ready for the next service day. Same layout, same equipment — just commercial pressure washing done the right way for food-service exteriors.

If you run a restaurant, QSR, or shopping-center food tenant in the Phoenix Metro / Mesa area and your grease enclosure or dumpster pad looks like the “before,” text Ron at (480) 522-5227 for a demo. We also cover sidewalks, storefronts, and shopping-center exteriors.

If you follow me on TikTok, you’ve probably seen me pull up to a restaurant, convenience store, pharmacy, or parking lot and ask one simple question:

How clean is this place — really?

That’s the idea behind my Clean and Dirty Places series on @ron_musgraves. I walk the sidewalks, entrances, and concrete that customers see every day, show what’s going on underfoot, and ask you to rate it 1 to 10 — 1 being the dirtiest, 10 being the cleanest. Sometimes I switch it up to an A–F grade. Either way, you’re the judge.

I’ve been a hydro emulsification / pressure washing guy for over 40 years. Dirty entrances don’t just look bad — they tell property managers, customers, and other contractors exactly how a property is being taken care of. Gum, grease, stains, and neglected concrete are the silent sales pitch for a good exterior cleaning program… or the warning sign that one is overdue.

Why I’m doing this

Clean sidewalks and storefronts sell. Dirty ones cost you customers you never hear from. The Clean and Dirty Places series is a straight look at what’s really on the ground — and a reminder that commercial exterior cleaning isn’t vanity. It’s maintenance, curb appeal, and liability rolled into one.

If you own or manage a property and your entrance looks like one of the “1–3” videos, you already know what needs to happen next.
