I need to clarify this after talking with both Steve Stepens and Mike Baker. Steve did not invent the actual x-jet. He created something like the x-jet using a Simpson acid injector that he modified to create something similar to the x-jet, and that was what Jim was referring to. Steve started to work with Simpson to develop these and take them to market. (Not exactly sure why that was never developed.) Mike Baker -- who is good friends with Steve and who spoke at Steve's schools -- is the actual creator of the x-jet. Sorry for any confusion.
They both should have a article on them still, I think! It's really nice to see who invented what and how they got the idea to do it.
