Dave Olson had invented some methods for wash water control as well as KEC tools. Dave never made money off any of them. KEC guys will have to chime in.

Robert started the 2006 UAmCc which we cannot find any corp records. It was closed prior to Carlos reviving it with the other 10 or 11 guys involved in the current non profit. No disrespect to Robert but a larger disrespect to those men who had the vision of what the contractor ran org stands for. Robert had nothing or vary little to do with this organizations growth or involvement.

I guess you could say it would be similar to you reopening my business after it was closed and I gave it to you because I was done with it. Instead of washing sidewalks you start staining decks. I come along three years later and claim I credited with you hate efforts to rebuild something that was gone and didn't succeed.

This will really upset some for me saying this, Robert was not even involved in the last rebuilding of the pwna. When the UAmCc was hot he was there, then when we built it up from dead he resurfaced to instill bmps that help no one but him. Owner by him and serves no one but him.

Think about this, pretend you are calling into the pwna to ask them about wash water control. What do they tell you? Here are these that where adopted by ft worth through Robert but please check with your local authorities for your own. This is why Scott tony Jerry and many others are resourcing each area to help direct contractors to there own.

What purpose do owned bmps served one can use without check with local authority's?

The purpose is only for Robert , so it places him by himself as the industry's authority. In return he can get people from contractor and regulation to listen to implement tougher regulations then are needed.

Robert should have founded Ceta not pwna. Of course there history there to, as well as Ikeca. Both of these orgs have had issues working with Robert in the past.

I respect Robert for contribution but the bs has to stop somewhere.

People have worked hard for the last four years on the UAmCc to make this what they want. Not one mans legacy when actual assistance was near nothing.

I was using a gadget by Steve Stevens like the x-jet before the x- jet came out. Still use it made of Stainless steel. Steve Stevens also had a great pressure washing school in North Carolina .

Steve (Stephens) always told me he actually invented the x-jet. I'm glad to hear you back up his story. And yes, he probably had the first pressure washing school. I went through one of his first classes back around 1996

Robert started ("invented") the industry's first bulletin board, shortly after the Internet took off.

Allison could we give him a story, this is a great find. This is cool, likely one of the best tools ever made.

I'll give him a call.

Steven touched a lot of men, we need to get him involved. I know he is busy, tell him I will help him with a boot camp school. Two days short hours because I know he cant go long. 325 a student he can keep the money.

+1000!

He misses the industry something fierce.

He needs to be teaching, and mentoring. I remember the few conversations on the phone I had with him a couple years ago, he helped me immensely. He has a gift and should be using it. Tell him we miss him and we need him.

Thomas Adams invented chewing gum in 1780 . What was the oldest piece every cleaned off concrete?

We cleaned sidewalks a couple of weeks ago at a county building built in 1985 - the manager of the location has been there since it opened and she can't recall it ever being cleaned. Can't say how long the gum has been there, but there was a load of it and was pretty tough to remove - 28 years, tougher than 2 to 3 year old gum!

Vinyl siding was invented in 1950 's by the Crane plastic company but didn't ketch on until the 1970's when the manufactoring process was profected for mass production.

I know I did an area at the Phoenix Airport once by an elevator, where the gum was literally 2 inches thick in a 5 x 10 area. I think I spent three hours in that area alone, and it created quite a mess.

Steve (Stephens) always told me he actually invented the x-jet.

I need to clarify this after talking with both Steve Stepens and Mike Baker. Steve did not invent the actual x-jet. He created something like the x-jet using a Simpson acid injector that he modified to create something similar to the x-jet, and that was what Jim was referring to. Steve started to work with Simpson to develop these and take them to market. (Not exactly sure why that was never developed.) Mike Baker -- who is good friends with Steve and who spoke at Steve's schools -- is the actual creator of the x-jet. Sorry for any confusion.
