Grant, this process has destroyed the ability of ambitious Americans to enter into and improve countless industries.

That is why a 15 cent bottle of freon costs $6 and requires a license to buy it

That is why people resort to pulling their own teeth with pliers in America.

That is why health care costs are crippling the nation.

That is why the two twin towers were built in 4 years with mid century technology but the single tower replacing them took ten.

I could go on and on. Bright, creative minds who in the past history of our country produced the greatest two centuries in history have now been stifled and reduced to uneducated, unemployed masses drowning in educational and other debt because to use their skills and talents require them to navigate a complicated and costly path just to start a business they have a passion for.

If I am wrong about what is happening in your industry, show me where I am wrong.

Hinting that I am wearing a tin foil hat is simply deflection. The transformation of the KEC industry has been going on for at least 6 years now. I am looking for signs that I am wrong about my conclusions.

I have no idea who, if anybody, was the KEC contractor for this place. I don't know if the fire was even remotely connected to the kitchen exhaust system. I know what I have read in the news, just like everyone else. The scenario you describe sounds like the Boston fire in August 2007. As far as I know, no facts like that have been expressed in relation to this fire.

When was the last fire in a restaurant taken over by ATF?

The speculation was a leaked story by employees of the eating establishment. A Houston reporter investigating ran across, of course un-official and not proven. We tend to believe the people who where in the kitchen on how things originated.

If it wasn't grease then someone did put a bomb in the place. Lets face it doubtful , ill go with the neglect of fire protection along with a serious problem with vent system. Once the fire got to this confined space it blew up like a bomb because the fuel was there. No one blew up this sports bar, people just don't want to accept there safety programs failed these men and now someone has to pay.

ATF gets involved in many large fires (and I believe anytime there is a firefighter LODD).
I have not heard of any bombs or explosives until your post.

I have been watching the news on this fire and have not heard half of what you are saying...

PS. NFPA reports on about 7,800 commercial kitchen fires in the United States every year. Not all of them involve the KES.

They assist, not take over!! This is closed off from local authority.

Well lets wait for the report. If you read eyewitness testimony they describe explosion. This is where the bomb aspect plays into ATF taking over. The other parts of my story are not confirmed but unconfirmed sources that reported says came from anonymous tip.

Will see what happens in coming days.

Read the news, it's all there. Yes eyewitness reports exist, there was people there when the fire broke out. They can't keep those people from talking.

For now alls we have is unconfirmed reports of the actual folks there. I tend to believe these people, what they heard and saw. The one guy on video actually relates the explosion to his military training and said it sound like a bomb. Just like the many he had set off in Afghanistan.

I think his report of the accounting was accurate. Lets face it, if a grease fire it's the largest of the size that's ever happened that I know of.

What's not fact!! Speculating grease had nothing to do with a kitchen fire? Lol
