Is there a largest privately owned exhaust cleaning business bigger than this one? The only other one I can think of is Commercial but I cant imagine they are doing over $30 million

Will he make over a 100 million in the next couple of years? That would be a good over/under for 2010 I'd lay $20 on the over but I dont want to get an infraction

What will happen when the economy folds in the next year? (Can a new company with a lot dept survive against a lean mom & pop with no dept?) Home Depot, Target and Barnes and Noble seems to be doing pretty good. Facilitec can offer the same service at deeper discounts than the mom and pops, who would you chose if you had a chain of restaurants?

I have to agree with you on this they have the infrasructure and connections to bid the large chain accounts and the size to bid them low, which is what the chains want.

I am always worried about companies that do professional sales presentations, show the customer what they are getting, and could be getting, have their certified and trained workers show up on time in lettered vehicles wearing matching uniforms and leave the customers exhaust system spotless all for a competetive price. Lets just say that Facilitec is the only company I worry about.
 
Sounds like the negotiations are going well........be afraid....Grant are you paying attention?
 
They are definately still around, they just took a big chunk out of my ass. $80k account in one fell swoop. Largest account we ever had and its probably peanuts to them. No more discount chain jobs for me, Its bad enough that we have to do them at a cut rate, but its even worse when just when we start getting used to doing them, bang their gone.
 
Don't let Chris go on vacation next time. Nothing has changed with Big Joe-they are cutting the Titanic in chunks and wishing it will float.

I have heard on more than one occasion they show up to clean several hours late, no ladders on the truck - so they don't approach the roof, and take all night long to do a crap job. Continue to do what you do - only better then them, take pictures of their work and yours and hunker down for the long haul. My overhead is a hell of lot less than theirs is.
