I dont know about you guys, but honestly it seems to be pretty safe here compared to alot of other countries. Anywhere you go you'll have corruption. Look at Mexico. Man those cops are corrupt. Atleast we dont have suicide bombers blowing up public places every week. I think Amerrica is great. Yes alot of time the goverment over steps there bounds. Some people dont like the TSA deal. Honestly tho, Im glad they do check people before they get on a plane. I dont want my family to end up on a plane with some idiot and a bomb, or a gun, or anything that could put them in harms way.

I also heard about the storing of text messages for 2 yrs. From the way I understood it, is if you commiteed a crime, they could go back, supeno those records to be used in courts. If this helps in convicting child molestors, murders, and some other piece of crap, then im all for it.

That all probably sounded great to General Patreus till he was about to testify against the administration and they dug through his emails and made him resign over something the POTUS did without any repercussions a few years ago in the oval office.

It sounds good to you now until you go up against a contractor who is a cop od the brother of a city councilman on a contract and they dig into your emails and trump up a false charge twisting your words and run you out of business.

Funny.

Yeah, it is real funny. I used to be a private investigator. 20 years ago I used to be surprised at the amount of information we could get from a cop for $100. You are being quite naive if you don't think a few bucks will give your competition information about you and your family members that you thought was "private".

I will never convince you. You have no clue about how fast and loose the authorities are with your information.

The only way to stop it is by reducing their access by enforcing the limits placed on them by the constitution. But it is hard to turn back 50 years of government indoctrination most of us went through in public schools.

Tony, what point are you actually trying to make?
What group of humans that you know of could turn the tide?
You profess a belief in the Bible as I recall. It says "...the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one". (1 John 5:19). The solution doesn't lie in getting everybody to stage a revolution.

Dan, it worked before and produced the greatest Christian nation this country has ever seen.

There were numerous clergy who sounded just like you are sounding from behind their pulpits during the revolutionary war.

The fact is the leadership of this country is breaking the law by making laws that are in direct violation of the supreme law of the land and of God's laws.

It would seem to me that our generation would have more backing by God in fighting the evil that our country has come to represent than the founders had in fighting King George. At least English common law didn't sit back and condone OR use tax dollars to pay for the execution of millions of children each year.

Tony, if you actually believe 1 John 5:19 you would not think that God backs any revolution against the governments he allows to exist.

Romans 13:1-7 Let every soul be in subjection to the superior authorities, for there is no authority except by God; the existing authorities stand placed in their relative positions by God. 2 Therefore he who opposes the authority has taken a stand against the arrangement of God; those who have taken a stand against it will receive judgment to themselves. 3 For those ruling are an object of fear, not to the good deed, but to the bad. Do you, then, want to have no fear of the authority? Keep doing good, and you will have praise from it; 4 for it is God’s minister to you for your good. But if you are doing what is bad, be in fear: for it is not without purpose that it bears the sword; for it is God’s minister, an avenger to express wrath upon the one practicing what is bad.
5 There is therefore compelling reason for YOU people to be in subjection, not only on account of that wrath but also on account of [YOUR] conscience. 6 For that is why YOU are also paying taxes; for they are God’s public servants constantly serving this very purpose. 7 Render to all their dues, to him who [calls for] the tax, the tax; to him who [calls for] the tribute, the tribute; to him who [calls for] fear, such fear; to him who [calls for] honor, such honor.

You either obey it all or don't bother with any of it.
