Video of stolen trailer

I am 90% positive I can produce a license plate number from that video. I have the latest version of Sony Vegas Pro. Although there are 2 variables that immedeatly jump to mind, first is Youtube's super low quality, and second as someone already stated, the truck may be stolen so the plate number might not be worth much..........I will look at this after my poker game tonight. Hey Rhien, I sent you the original videos so they wouldnt be distorted by Youtube. Man, any thing you could do to help would definately be appreciated.

Just an update, we bought all new equipment, and will pick up the new trailer tomorrow. Should have everything assembled by Tuesday or wednesday. Ill post pictures when its done.

Scott..you are really being tested. Keep the faith. The next job i bid and get (no matter what amount) will have an extra 10% coming your way. I am sorry I didn't get back to you sooner on this.......I have had some pretty bad news of my own today. I did look at it for a few minutes, and I am almost sure that there is no front license plate, only the bracket. I will try to look at it in more depth in the morning, I'm just too bummed right now.

I looked at the files you sent and only 1 of them open up, the 'Stolen Trailer July 3rd' or whatever the name of the file is. I couldn't get the other 5 videos to open, not sure what the problem is, even though they look to be just regular AVI's. I was using Sony Vegas and was able to zoom, but unfortunately, like the other poster stated, it looks like there is nor tag on the front of the truck, so not sure what else I can do. :mad:
 
If theres no tag, then that leads me to believe that the truck is either brand new, less than 30 days, or stolen from the dealer. Either one gives me a little ammo.

Got the whole trailer together, and got the Bandit in today. Should have it all ready to go in about 2-3 hours. Only other thing I need is a ladder rack, but Im gonna build that ione myself.

Scott, sorry to read of your father-in-law passing. You and your family will be in my prayers.

Also, if you could email me the original files I will look at them. I might not be able to clean them up any more than the other people, but it's worth a shot if you'd like me to try. The cops probably won't do anything as it isn't a homicide so it's low priority which equates rather closely to no priority. Now, if you pad some cop's palms you might get some progress, but probably not.

A lady called but I was busy at the time so I asked if I could call her back. Called back later but had to leave a voice mail. We'll see how it turns out. Thanks. I thought it might have been a referral from you because it was in the Galleria area, whereas most of my non-referrals are in between Highway 249 and Highway 59, north of the beltway.
