Vertical or Horizontal Diesel Burners

Ron M.,
The hose reels and the ball Valves i bought from Envirospec www.envirospec.com The hose reels are Hose Trac and the stand that there sitting on my father made. The 5 Ball Valves I bought on sale from them and I think I paid around $15 for each.
They are not stainless but the couplers that are attach to it are.

The Hose reels can hold 500'+ of powerwashing hoses in which I have 400' that you see in the picture. The Garden hose reel can hold at least 350' in which I have 225" on it that you also can see in the picture.

The Ball Valves all work fine except for one which is hard to turn on/off but for that price iIthought it was a great deal because the other 4 work great and it still comes out to less then $20 apiece if you play with the numbers.

I am pretty satisfied with Envirospecs equipment.

Tony, nice rig, I'm set up in a step van and have vented my landa through the roof. I also routed my exhaust from from the 25hp Onan to the diesel vent, this way I only had to cut one hole.Works great. Merry Christmas.

Mel

you sure got a workhorse there. She wont win any contest for look's but is still way ahead of "junk yard wars"
i dig that show. Maybe we could team up.
Mel,bigboy, wiz, mark,me Micheal from epp's can replace anyone not wanting to get in on it. lol
What would you build if you had no rules?
no worries about how it looked
no worries about how to market it.
That is how i feel Dave Olsen built his set-up.
He knew what he needed and put it together.
Did a good job of it.
Who else builds there own stuff?
Send a pic, even if it's the surface cleaner.

Greg,
Yeah the hose reels are big, but I wanted to be able to carry at least 225 feet of 3/4" inlet hose, which required this size reels. Then, in order to keep things matched and stackable, the upper reel for the high pressure hose was added. In this photo, there is only 100 feet on the reel, but I think it can hold about 500 feet, which I have never had a need for. I carry three more 50 footers, for a total of 250 possible feet. I add them on as required because I don't want to lower my psi too much. On the right side of the rig you can see the Steel Eagle, which operates beautifully at 3500 psi, and I don't want to impact that.

BE....

If I had to do it over, I would have ordered a 14 or 16 foot trailer. The 6x12, as you can see in the pix, is maxed out. In order to get another machine in, I'd have to remove the water tank. I was concerned that the 16 footer would just be too heavy for my truck if I filled it up. As it is, when I'm filled up on water, the rig weighs just under 6000 #.

You can't tell from the pix, but I had that trailer custom built for me, with 18" oc floor joists, instead of 24", 5000# d-rings built into the floor, undercoating, extra interior lights with a wall switch, and electric brakes on both axles.

The All American has worked very well for me so far, although there are a couple design issues that could have been better thought out to facilitate easier maintenance.

Some day soon I will have hot water hope very soon. I learned years ago that the trailer doors remain unlocked when working or traveling so that god forbid you should have to get in to the trailer it is that much faster, also keeping the truck,or tow vehicle keys separate from trailer keys is also another good idea so that just in case of fire you can leave the truck running to unhook the trailer to get away without messing with looking for keys. Learned the hard way about locked trailer doors when a friend lost his race car, trailer and his truck to fire when trying to unlock the trailer and tongue hitch lock. Hope this never happens to anyone!

I remember someone actually lost a pressure washing trailer a few years ago. They were able to unhook the enclosed trailer before it went up. Completely destroyed it. I just can't remember who it was it happened to though.
