Kristopher, all you have to do is email Jim and let his "committee" search the net and make sure you have never said anything that remotely looks like you have any respect for other contractors around you like Ron, Scott, or me who make so little money doing what we do at reasonable prices.
Apparently at this event, Jim and his sidekick Jim are going to show you how "elite" contractors get 30 cents per foot on 360,000 square foot garages. That's $105,000!!! to clean a garage that he claims he can do in two days.
Many words have been printed on the internet about Jim Gamble and his excellence. They are easy to find, just do a google search for his posts to find out in his own words how great he is.
Jim Cooney, who hosted the garage cleaning event last year, has been an "elite" contractor for at least two years since I met him in 2009 - before he reached "elite" status.
$105k per garage. I wonder how much gross an "elite" contractor makes per year cleaning all those garages?
If you want to join the "elite" ranks and make a fortune cleaning garages this is apparently the place to be Kristopher.
Speakers include:
Robert Hinderliter - used to sell stuff to clean garages, apparently semi-retired now
Michael Hinderliter - cleans trucks
Nigel Griffith - Nice guy, great with equipment - doesn't clean garages either, he can correct me if I'm wrong.
John Tornebene - says he's cleaned a few garages
Then there is - Jim Cooney - has four rigs, and one big reclaim rig. Jim's garage cleaning guru sidekick. Surely he's the only one besides Jim who has made a fortune off all this since he's been working alongside and learning from Jim since 2009 and spent tens of thousands on all this reclaim equipment.
That's about it.

I am trying to figure out how to handle this tactfully, but can't. I wonder how many garages were cleaned last year at 24 cents a foot to achieve these numbers. BTW, this is Jim Cooney's business. I do not mean for this to be a post that is detrimental in any way to Jim's attempts to sell his business. In fact, I encourage anyone looking for a business to take a look at this and determine if this might be a viable alternative for you. This is in my local market, so if you are interested in knowing about any of the accounts, I would be more then happy to sign a non compete on those accounts, and give you my opinion.

Is this true? Invite only?.... Better not be, otherwise don't bother wasting an invite on me.
On another note since I feel like venting. Anyone can put "elite" in their name, but unless you have 20+ years in this industry and your the one most go to with questions and concerns, then you don't even close to "Elite".
You can Clean Garage's , go learn from these guys.

Kris this is not an invite only event. What your seeing is the same usual crew bashing something positive. Just look at the VP of the UAMCC being as helpful as he always is above with his remarks.
Where going to put the pay link on the flyer when I get back. Because of the size of this event that is geared towards all attendees working the machines we at first couldn't figure how to keep this event at a the right size which is based on how many machines will be brought here..
So after many calls it was decided to make it like most events are where it's first come first serve. So if your interested, when we give the hotel block out and the pay link you can take it from there.
If there's any other questions and you want to know something without the usual crew giving out false information just hit me up on an email or PM here and I'll make sure I respond back as fast as I can.

John, you are being misleading here, up until your post above this WAS an invite only event. Prospective attendees had to supmit a request, then wait to see if they passed muster to be invited.
Just because you decided to change it doesn't mean that all the sudden it's always been an open event.
I think I'll try that when I get pulled over next time. "Sir I am not speeding", Officer "you were going 75 in a 55 zone", I respond "I am not speeding now, as a matter of fact I'm stopped".
Officer, "You are right, carry on". lol

John, this lying will always catch up to you. You have stated several times your event was invitation only. Now you say it is not? No one is bashing anything positive. We give you grief because of your soapbox antics trying to get attention sometimes. Do you really believe that anyone that knows better would attend this garage cleaning event? You have the llligetimate granddaughter of a a drunk ballplayer as you national speaker paired next to Gamble and the rest. You gotta admit it is comical. We all love you but can't understand how you get sucked into this foolishness.

John, you and your crew are pathological liars. I thought better of you then this. This is the first hint that it was anything but an invitation event. How else can you explain that someone needs to send an email to a committee to see if they are accepted to come this event?
