Upgrading pump

I read that he wanted to use a northern hot box, didn't see anything about the 4 gpm burner. I ran 8 gpm thru a 5.5 gpm burner for a few years.

Those burners are only rated for 4gpm.
What temperature did you have with yours?

I really need the burner cause I plan on hooking it to my portable extractor also. So what's my options with the burner rated at 4000 psi and 4 gpm? I only have 1 washer so I can't hook 2 together.

Any suggestions on portable heaters rated a higher gpm?

Zac P instead of upgraded the unit you have now why dont you keep plugging along.Build you up some business and see how things go.After a bit you will be ready to add another machine to the arsenal. Then pick you out a machine with a bigger engine and it will open doors to more pump options and pressure and psi ect.Nothing at all wrong with a 13hp honda but at the end of the day its still 13 hp.

Ya know I was sitting here just thinking that. There's nothing wrong with what I have now. Yea there's a lot better but also a lot worse setup then what I plan on doing.

Link two pressure washers together and you be with the big boys. Just makes you go faster and wish you did it years ago. 8gallons 4000psi

Russ can help you out

where can I find info on how to do this?

You can get a Place just as clean with cold water, you will just take more time and use more chems. Scrapppers work great on gum if the cold water cant remove them safe.

I once lost a job to a hadicaped kid with a garden hose, scrapper and deck brush. He actually did a great job.

Thanks for the encouragment Ron! This heater is saying it heats water to 250 degrees but I know its not gonna come out that hot...what should I expect?

Zac, I saw your from Strawberry Plains. I had a lady call me a couple days ago in that area and wanted a housewash. She wanted it done this week but I dont have time to get to it.

Russ Johnson did mine. Russ got two stainless steel check vaules at 5500psi a tee and and some coulplers, 3 of 4ft of hose. Check pass post, if you do it you will have to change your tips on your gun and on your surface cleaner. My pressure washer runs great with them hook up.

You wont be able to walk twice as fast, nor will it beat 2 surface cleaners that running there own pw. But its almost as fast

Ill look into this. Care to tell me a estimate of what ya paid?

AR has a good 5.5 gpm direct drive pump that you could use if you don't want to use any pulleys. You could go with a gear drive too. Your 4 gpm hot box will work fine you can bump up the BTU by going up a size or two on the nozzle and still probably get the same heat you are used to. Let me know if I can help.

The AR pump would still put me around 2500 psi correct?
