To the vets!! What has made you successful?

Treat the customer the way YOU would want to be treated. Treat their home/business as though it were yours. As Russ said "listen". (This works in most aspects of life.) Most customers will be shocked when you do what you say you will do; when you said you would do it; and for the price you quoted.

Oh yeah, it helps to not mind getting dirty and wet!

I feel that you have to be a people person, someone that can listen to their customers as well as know how to communicate with them. Myself, having been a Deputy Sheriff for many years, I learned this very well. Also life isn't always fair, so when you are dealt lemons, make lemonaide out of it. Live and enjoy life, try not to take anything too serious. This is the way I live my life and I haven't been disappointed with it yet. Good luck! Hugh

Hey John how is it going in Virginia? Hugh

Hey John how is it going in Virginia? Hugh

Thanks for asking and I hope all is well with you as well. I'm hangin' in there - waiting for the arrival of warmer weather (customers' calls) and the Dr. clearing me to get back to it full time. As most of us are, I'm also hoping/praying for an economy that won't keep people from wanting their house cleaned! Hoping for the best, prepared for the worst.

I have relatives in Virginia Beach and visit them off and on. I need to get with you next time I am up there visiting. Business here is also slow as far as homeowner go, if it wasn't for my 2-pensions and the wife working it would be hard to live in this economy. I try to make my business contracts that are monthly keep me busy and fill in the other time with daily calls and Golfing of course. Take care and keep in touch! Hugh
