Again, just so everybody knows...most of these guys hardly know Ron or even me outside these boards or the roundtables.
Ron rarely even drinks alcohol. We just drove from Vegas to Seattle and back staying in hotels all the way. If memory serves me right we only had a couple of drinks at a bar one night. We might have had a drink at one of the places we ate too in Seattle but that would have just been a drink at a meal.
Out of curiosity, because Ron is phenomenonal with the energy he has I looked at the time it takes him to fall asleep. One night he was out within two minutes. He works til he's done then he is OUT. Usually in less then five minutes.
But then he is up way before dawn. He is usually up and about having coffee and sitting in the lobby on his phone before 5am.
In all our time together he has never used any kind of stimulant other than coffee.
He spends hours each day and night fielding calls from contractors.
As a matter of fact I don't recall ever seeing Ron drunk outside of a roundtable atmosphere. He can't drink. He has too many people counting on him.
Back when I met Ron in 2008 he drank more at roundtables than he does now. He likes to be sociable and hang out with contractors. I have seen him pay bar tabs for contractors of more than $1000 on numerous occasions. I guess those guys think its OK for them to drink on his dime, but not OK for him to do so.
I don't recall ever seeing Ron have more than one drink at a sitting in all of the hundred or more days I have spent in phoenix. I have never seen a single bottle of alcohol in any of his houses.
If drinking at a roundtable is supposed to give anyone an indication of who a person is, the I must be raging alcoholic because I got plastered at Myrtle Beach after the stress of dealing with the old UAMCC issues that were going on then.
Shelly too because she got 3 sheets to the wind after that stingray stung her in Tampa and the guy helping her and the cop that showed up told her to take some shots for the pain because she didn't have anything else to stop it!!!
These scum mention prostitutes too. I have only seen Ron in the presence of prostitutes once. At a bar with me and Jim Gamble. (Guess who picked up the tab). Ron was friendly with them and bought them some drinks but that was it.
I don't care what he has done at roundtables. When you've got a bunch of freeloaders like Chris or Thad or Jim hanging all over encouraging outrageous behaviour just so they can have something to talk about Ron later I am glad they only know him from roundtables. That means they will always underestimate him and never know the real man behind the pocketbook that feeds them and buys them drinks.
I am glad I know the man, the real Ron. The one they are so afraid might exist.
The one who runs circles around them and does all the things they wish they could accomplish.
The one who tells a contractor how to close a deal on his cell phone while driving his three little girls to the park.
The one who will take a whole day off to take my kids to the theme park to let Shelly and me have time alone.
The one who will get up in in instant and fly to Houston to help a contractor he doesn't even know just because he asked.
The one who will be at events for weeks at a time, but fly into Vegas for a night just to say hello before flying home.
These punks don't know Ron. They don't know me. They know a Ron they have made up in their heads so they can go home and look in the mirror and convince themselves that there is somebody out there more pathetic than they are.
The simple fact is. There is no such Ron.
And they are pathetic and no amount of projection on their part will change that.
Integrity and honesty is the only thing that could make a difference in their lives and it is out of their grasp.
The worst ones are the ones who turn on him after he quits paying for their meals and hotel rooms after months of freeloading.
Or the ones who turn on him after he turns them down on a loan to start up a for profit org.
Or the ones who learn what they can from him then go out and offer themselves as "experts" using what he taught them.
There are a lot of pathetic people out there. Its up to you guys to decipher the difference.

I agree with you 100% on every single point Tony...I have known Ron since about 2008 when he made his first trip to Houston here after I asked for his help.
I too have traveled with him many times to training events, round tables etc.
Have been in constant communication with him on almost a daily basis since 2008 either by text messages or phone conversations. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, EVER have I ever witnessed the actions some of these people accuse him of, or anything even remotely close to it that would even cause me to think, hmmmm.
What I have heard is some of these people say to me, " I just don't like him" or "he just rubs me the wrong way" or "or I read where this guy said this or that guy said that" or "all he ever does is spam", - and that's a funny one because all he ever does is promote someone else's event or business.
So I then ask, well have you ever spent any time with him either in person or on the phone?? And the answer is always, NO, but I have had a few guys call me and warn me about him. Which by the way happened to me back in 2008, right before he came here to Houston, a guy by the name of Jim Cooney called me to "warn" me about Ron, told me to stay away from him. Said everyone he knows that has known Ron, the relationship never lasted more than a year and it ended badly" Then when Ron get's here and I ask Ron, "do you know this Jim guy", and all Ron says is, "I know of him, never met him, he's a new guy starting out in my area I think"
All I would say is if anyone has any question about Ron, or something you see out there you don't understand, just pick up the phone and call him. But be prepared, cause he will be nothing but honest with you, brutally honest.
