This weeks work

I did a wide variety of work this week. Sometimes I think that the stuff I do is crazy, because of how varied it can be.
Monday, I cleaned park restrooms and detailed a car interior.
Tuesday, more park restrooms, Maintained some landscape for a pressure washing customer because the weeds were overgrown, and they needed it done now, I am easier to call and get to do something than their landscaper. I also washed about 100 vehicles.
Wednesday, I washed the stands of a stadium where they hold spring training..
THursday, I mounted repaired a bus bench that had been mounted to a wall and had pulled away.
Friday, I cleaned the concourse of the same stadium, and did all the exterior walks.

These are all the jobs I did myself. I also had other people out working as well. So, what did you do?

Monday I posted on PWI.
Tuesday I read posts, then posted on PWI.
Wednesday I went to PTstate, then came back to PWI and posted.
Thursday tried to stay off the boards. My wife unplugged my computer. ( I had to check the board on my phone)
Friday......well, here I am.

Sunday- initial cleanings at McDonalds
Monday- initial cleanings at McDonalds
Tuesday- initial cleanings at McDonalds
Wednesday- initial cleanings at McDonalds, Meeting with property manager, sold chillis on monthly service
Thursday- hospital, initial cleanings at McDonalds-

Friday-Saturday were taking a few nights off

Back to work at 2:00am on sunday then working all week again

We really need more equipment to be efficient especially on the initial cleanings

UM, Lets see....

Monday.... I slept

Tuesday.... Woke up

Wed..... Went to a Job site to do a walk Thur/ bid. Then went home and watched some TV

Thursday. Watched Burn Notice, oh before that... worked on a 10 page bid with some legal stuff.

Friday, Had to do some yard work.... So I got some day laborers, and did what I do best... I directed them, politely, on where the weeds was as I sat in my lounge chair sipping on some Ice Tea. After they were done, I gave them a tip ( $50) on top of the agreed pay. They were some good workers! Just looking at them work, got me so tired.

Monday I sat next to the fire because we had snow on Sunday and snow in GA shuts everything down. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday worked on an interior painting job. Friday washed a driveway and some other concrete at a residential property and then did a house wash in another subdivision.

This past week consisted of sales calls for me (the part of the business I love-sales). We landed 4 new jobs, two weekly jobs, one monthly job, and one quarterly job. I also landed 10 more demos to do within the next week and a half. It was great, I had people that I called early in the week that said no (for one reason or another) and they called me by the end of the week to ask for me to still work with them.

I also had to take my truck to my supplier to get more chemicals as we ran out this week. Oh well, it is rare that I have to buy chemicals, but I have to sometime.

Russ is that the pool that is next to the Doechester (sp?) center? How did it go? How long did it take?

Yes, I dont have the finished pics but here are a few during.

Loook at all the stuff we washed to the end, we used a sump pump to pull the gook out. We had to go back to do a final rise out.

Yeah..it was like a street!!! It was made entirely of pepple.
When you surface clean it, someone has to be behind you rinsing with a garden hose or the dirt will dry over the rock again and you have to clean it again!
It was really dirty and I think the guy wants us to do it every 3-4 months. Pretty cool!
All I have to say was that my hand hurt, my arms hurt, my back hurt, and everything else hurt for cleaning that long! I feel like I got hit by a truck!
Maybe I'll stay in the office next time! LOL....

Jen,
My wife saw your picture and said a guy needs to marry a wife that will do what it takes. You go girl!
She worked many a late night and has done a lot of gross stuff that she got a degree so she would not have to do it for a living. Even at my roundtable, if you look in the pictures, you will see her helping out at the grill.
