So everyone who ordered the book and have read it....can you give reviews on it?? Is is worth the $149, or am I better off to continue to tear up the search button??

Also, does it cover any of the following:
-Recipes
-Pricing
-Advertising
-Equipment repair
-Sample forms (quote, contract, check-list)

It does cover advertising, and a HUGE section of the book is equipment repair. It's not a silver bullet. It's not going to have everything that you personally want. However it is an amazing resource, the most comprehensive book written yet for our industry. It's worth the $149.00.

I hate to say it but I was very disappointed in it. I was looking for a good place to be able to reference to and this isn't it. Let's say you're new to deck cleaning and you go there to learn. Sure their are some the how to's; but I was looking for something complete with formulas. I didn't see any formulas. I personally never cleaned an awning and went to look for what to use. I got a generic use your "awning cleaner" as an answer. No chemical formulas and no brands as far as which cleaners to use were mentioned either. The repair section seems pretty thorough, so that could be worth the money. I also haven't read the marketing section either. Going hunting this weekend maybe I'll take it with me.
 
I picked up a copy earlier this year, and haven't got to read all too much of it. I'm sure there is great information in there, I just haven't got to use it for that yet. I've learned a lot of good things on the site here, and like Ace said the references and other things were pretty vague in the book for me.

I know there's $150 worth of information in there for me, just not sure when I'll get around to it. For me there's great info in the book, but also great info on this site and the web.

That's exactly what I was afraid of....the vague answers. Now, if someone came out and said they had an extensive and proven list, with stuff like: "for stucco with greenery stains, use this much 12.5%SH, this much water, this much Elemonator, this much febreeze, this much dragon juice, this much EBC, downstream mix this concentration, allow to dwell for this long, rinse, rinse, rinse"....then I would be ready to send some money their way. Not knocking this book, because I am sure it includes TONS of information that may help me, especially the marketing and repair sections

The book would be 5 pages thick. There is no formula for "greenery" on stucco. A 10 degree difference in temperature would throw it off. If it tells you which chems to use, start at the weakest mix and go from there. After a while you can just look at a stain and know how much to hit it with. A book giving you a concentration would be a lie, especially if it is chlorine, bleach based mix. Old chlorine, temps throw everything off. As far a gutter streaks and butyl and stuff like that. No book can specify which strength because all gutters are different. You can use the same mix on the same house and strip the paint off of one section and not the other.

I see exactly what you are saying, and thank you very much. People like yourself is why I am here - proven knowledge is what I am always looking for, and you sir surely have it. I lit up some gutters a few weeks ago and pulled paint (warned customer ahead of time of the possibility) on one side, and using same mix barely made a dent in the streaks on the other side of the house. I am trying to learn how to safely use this inventory of chemicals I have sitting in my garage, and when to use one over another. I have SH, EBC, Dragon Juice, Gutter Grenade, F-9 BARC, Elemonator, Roof Snot, Stick-up, Simple Cherry, and a few more "store brand" chems sitting around.
