The passing of Ted Watson-Rapid Hot Clean

By the way, we found out today that Ted had just been diagnosed with a bone disease that crippled and took his father's life in a terrible manner. His helper stated that his consciousness ended instantly upon the fall and he was spared both the suffering of the fall AND of his disease.

Well, we drove from the top to the bottom of three states for the last few hours yet somehow we are still in Oregon. Lol.

Ted was extremely helpful with the Las Vegas event even though he couldn't make it there. His insight was invaluable during Shelly's campaign an I so looked forward to enlisting his help for wise answers to this endless line of public and union lobbyists she finds lined up in front of her door daily.

He didn't stand for any BS. While much more tactical in his approach than I am he never his his disdain for idiots and con artists. His wit set a trap for them they could rarely avoid.

Our time with Ted was a small portion of the Ted pie. It was a glimpse of a lifetime of achievement and various experiences.

Most of his family seemed to be amazed that he enjoyed the physical labor he did at the sunset of his life after a life of gained and lost fortunes in businesses that many would consider a much higher calling.

Yet Ted became one of us. He became our brother with not so much as any indication at all that his fortunes or experiences made him one inkling better than us.

A brother in the industry. This is what we lost in Ted.

I have lost a fellow soldier in the fight against those who align to take advantage of us.

Ted was a man of action, a practical joker, humorist, and a purveyor of wisdom. He will be missed. I can still hear his laugh in my head.

We need more like him.

AMEN

Tony - again im glad you and Mike were there- i know Ian is glad as well

He was a UAMCC guy through and through- always talking about making our industry better

Thats what i liked about him most- NO BS- tell it like it is

He will be missed but his honor and legacy will live on

We will always remember Ted, he was a good man.

I will miss talking about markets, Ted and myself talked more about real-estate and stock market. Not much about POWERWASHING, except the endeavor Ted was embarking on.

I will definitely miss the late night chats about kids life and the current events of the world. Ted was a refreshing breath of air when it came to his views on life. No wonder I never realized how old he was, Ted seemed young at heart. Full of fire to continue to grow. At this point a person I can look up to in the future that life shouldn't slow down. When I go I hope it's like Ted, when ready and with blessings. I only hope I can look through his eyes to see life really never stops.

Ted was a good man, I'm sure those who talked with him Friends and family will miss him dearly.

As always death is selfish, in Ted case this was likely a blessing from a higher power so Ted wouldn't suffer.

Thanks Tony for paying respects, I know Ted was watching from above as he likely was laughing as I to could hear him in my head.

Great Post Ron

Still can't believe he's gone...I probably didn't talked to him as often as some others here...but when I did, I was always like, turn on the speaker phone and just sit back and listen and learn...about anything he was talking about. He knew so much about so much. Very educated. Miss him and think of him often.

Wow! I was away from the business and forum for a while and just learned of this. I only had a chance to talk to him a few times, but when I did, he was a great guy to chat with. He will be very very much missed in the industry. Condolences to his friends and loved ones.

Miss my friend Ted and all the talks we had

Miss his presence here also- always had great posts and a great sense of humor

Mike, I was thinking the other day about him and missing his phone calls....even thought about finding this thread and bumping it. Just never got around to it. Thanks for bumping it.

Doug, I know we all miss his phone calls lol

He probably would start with me since i was on the east coast, then you since your central & finish with Ron, Tony or Mike Beck on the west coast

Like Ron had once said- he was knowledgeable in so many areas- such a good conversationalist- politics, marketing, world events, lol

Still remember him calling me an hour before i was supposed to fly to Florida telling me i shouldn't get on the plane when that plague (i forget the name) hit the USA- the flesh eating dilemma that was allover the news then
