Yes I do beleive that too, but just being good will not allow us to see the promise land. The Bible does say, ye must be born again!!

Here is the story of Nicademus and his discussion with Jesus in the night. John 3:1-17

1 Now there came a man of the Pharisees whose name was Nicodemus, a member of the council. 2 He came to Jesus at night and said to him, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could do the miraculous signs that you do unless God were with him.”
3 Jesus replied, “I tell you the solemn truth, unless a person is born from above, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
4 Nicodemus said to him, “How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter his mother’s womb and be born a second time, can he?”
5 Jesus answered, “I tell you the solemn truth, unless a person is born of water and spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 What is born of the flesh is flesh, and what is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must be born from above.’ 8 The wind blows wherever it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”
9 Nicodemus replied, “How can these things be?”
10 Jesus answered, “Are you the teacher of Israel and yet you don’t understand these things? 11 I tell you the solemn truth, we speak about what we know and testify about what we have seen, but you people do not accept our testimony. 12 If I have told you people about earthly things and you don’t believe, how will you believe if I tell you about heavenly things? 13 No one has ascended into heaven except the one who descended from heaven—the Son of Man. 14 Just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the desert, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 so that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life.”
16 For this is the way God loved the world: he gave his one and only Son that everyone who believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world should be saved through him.

Great example of Nebuchadnezzar...he found out the hard way who got the respect.

I do agree with DJ to a certain point about me being in control of my future. I am in control of my future to a certain extent. If I lay around and don't do anything then yes my business and life with fail. So we have to be diligent and persistant to keep things going, but in the end God is the one that gives the increase and controls where he wants my life to go.


I just read Col. 3:23 this morning earlier.
And whatever you do, do it heartily as unto the Lord and not unto men.

I don't think masterminds is a bad thing...if it helps us do something more heartily for God!!

Sounds like this book just promotes positive thinking and positive energy. Which I believe in 100%. Manifestation can be achieved with positive thinking and positive energy. Granted I have not read the entire book, just the first couple chapters. But I don't plan on diving any deeper into the book, because I don't like the fact that it is promoting positive energy as a way to gain control and power. You should do things in life to help and better everyone around you, not just for self gain and interest.

I feel like using positive energy for self interest goals and objectives is really just a disguised form of negative energy. I also don't like the way they are describing positive thoughts as some sort of a packaged item that you can sell and distribute. But at the same time, I am also the type of person who tends to learn from my own mistakes in life before I listen to anyone else's advice. I am very hard to convince until I see it with my own eyes. So as far as God goes, I guess, when I die I will believe in whichever one of the millions of religions that was correct. I don't think God would think less of me for that.

EVERYTHING IN LIFE SHOULD BE VIEWED AS A PERSPECTIVE. Because no one knows anything, unless they believe that they do. I also know that I am going to be very rich in life with love and wealth because I have already decided that I am going to be, whether I read this book or not. That is my deep post for the month! haha
