Thankful for my wife backing me!

Downstreaming. X-jet is a downstream type. Anything input after the pump is downstream. So you can have the D/S unit after pump, heater or at gun. It is all D/S. I like my D/S unit at the hose right under the gun. Im basicly lazy and dont like to walk back to the machine to turn it off/on. I just tote a 5gal jug to the general area and drop pickup hose ( 20') in jug.

Being new to this the pictures are truly worth a 1,000 words. I was alwas wondering about the 5er's, downstreaming, etc but it seems to make a little more sense now. Thanks for posting the pictures and I will have to jon the group that has the eye rolling, don't want to hear it wife group!

Found these pics of a large job we did that needed workers on short notice on a weekend. Denise and her Daughter stepped up and worked and in the rain too. Russ Johnson even helped on this one... we needed 2 extra surface cleaners on a Sunday and he opened up shop to hook us up.

.......I know... No PPE. But they got the job done on time and made us some easy $$$$

My husband Jason showed me this thread. Pressure washing is very intresting to me. I have gotten into it more here lately when helping with the flyers, business cards, and mostly website. I would get on here and just read threads. I've learned alot about marketing, pressure washing in general. You all are great with the help you give. I thank you for that. Because now Pressure Washing is a subject my husband and I can actually have a real conversation in now, lol. I have worked beside my husband quite a few times and it is so much fun.

Good luck going to south carolina, i bet your wife will do great.
thanks, sara

What in gods name do you use for a rinse pump, and for hoses? That would be effin great for rinsing roofs!

We were hooked up straight to the Fire Hydrants. This store was scheduled to have the keys turned over to Lowes on a Monday. We got call on the Friday bfore to clean 265,00 sqft of asphalt. The lanscapers had tracked mud all over and the was no rain for a while. When it did rain, it wasn't enough to rinse the lot and was causing lime to leach from under and it was stuck to the surface. I thought this was going to be an easy rinse down with fire hose but it needed the surface cleaner to break the bond and then rinse with Fire Hose

Wow Michael, that's one heck of a lot of asphalt to wash. I actually have never washed asphalt, only concrete. I'm guessing it was just a cold water rinse, no soap? I like the firehose solution, that's great for rinsing. I could've use that on a large job I had back in 2004, would've made it much easier on a hot day, before the rinse water dried up on us. Good Job!
