Thankful for my wife backing me!

Thats awesome Jeff. My wife has been my ground woman since we started, and does some of the cleaning every once in a while. Im showing her more and more, because we are gearing up to hire someone and she is going to run the actual work, and im going sales/advertising full time.

We work great together during the day, but being together so much devalues the time we have off with each other.

My wife helps out all the time when she can. She reads posts on this board and always is 110% behind me when it comes to buisiness. I couldn't ask for more. I love her to death.
As for electical stuff you mentioned Ron. Yea! I've had a few plugs blow out and tripped a few breakers.

I am happy to see a thread about having good women behind you guys. We dont get enough credit... I work my butt off both doing sales and pressure washing since Nate works full time. I have done plenty gas stations, houses, parking garages and much more all by myself. I love to see the looks on guys faces when they pull up next to me haulin my big ol trailer around town....
I love pressure washing and think its a fun job - couldnt think of doing anything else.

So many of you guys are lucky to be married to ladies that will get out there and help you when you need it, that is really great.

Have you ever tried downstreaming? It would be no lugging around containers for her while you are gone, just going back to the rig to put the suction hose into some water to flush out the injector.

I have done houses with algae and mold a lot worse than that one and with only 10% bleach too so It can be done, I do it all the time. Sometimes it takes a couple or few applications but it all comes off.

If you do not know about downstreaming, just ask.

Yeah Chris we have a bad azz soft wash system onboard our van that will spray at 60 psi through a garden hose. It gets the job done, but X jeting is kinda fun sometimes.....

My wife will go to work, too. Sometimes, when it has been a long week, and she knows that I am beat, I will wake up and she will be gone doing the job I was planning on doing. She turns off the alarm clock and just does it. Of course, then she reminds me that it was not what she was thinking about when she got her degree. I have had my wife with me on hot asphalt in 120 degree heat, and the only thing that I heard was where is the Circle K so I can get us some more water, because we have gone through our 5 gallon jug. I think that I will renew her contract.

That is too cool Scott. My wife is always running up with a cold drink and cold wet towels for me. Yesturday she stopped by the Job we were working on to visit. She left and returned 45 min later with sandwiches. Ya gotta love her. Good thing she did. Lucky me, I blew 2 hoses so I sent her to get them repaired and to get me 2 new ones. She is always so willing to help me and never complains. I wish I were more like her....

Nice Larry, I love the water resistant outlets that blow like that.

We've tripped the GFI's before. Hate them.

Chris,

I asked Ron in another thread that got off topic, but no one replied to it. I've been x-jetting for almost 5 years, but am definitely open to downstreaming, so as not to have to carry that bucket around. My wife works with me and we are part time pressure washers. She has washed with me on probably 95% of the jobs we've had.
In downstreaming, do you just switch tips to make the soap vs. water come out, is that how it works? I believe I have a downstream injector, I should know this, but I thought it was upstreamed instead. I will double check when I get home. I know that I turned it off so that I could xjet solely. When I did try it, I was never able to get the reach that I could get with the xjet, so that's why I've stuck with xjetting.

Thank you

Try an adjustable push/pull nozzle, I can shoot almost 30' with mine on low pressure.

Hey David! That outlet wa not even waterproof. Someone puy it on there years ago before inspections or something. It should not have even been there. It was 3 inches off the pool decking underneith an old window shaker for a florida room. That wasn't the only thing that went wrong there. I ended up killing 1 koi fish and 3 gold fish. Easy job turned into Nightmare job! The fish is another story.
