tank size for roof cleaning

2 --30 Gallon tanks will take up more room than one 60?!
30 is fine man just have a 5 gallon backup of pure SH/mix. if you sell a job that is 4500sq.ft. run out and get a 150 gallon.... @ .20 per you will be able to swing it..

like the apple cowboy says do not mess with the bulkhead fiitings.lowes will have a PVC plug for that tank just add teflon tape and dont strip the threads.......feed from the top.

I have a 100 gallon tank in my enclosed trailer, with the delavan mounted on top. I put 30 gallons of bleach, then mix the tsp and borax with heated water, once it is disolved it gets added to the mix, but do not forget to stir it up a lot. Then once I get to the job site I add my water then clean. I usually have 40 to 50 gallons left over after one roof. That will help with your driving a tank around in your truck. If you need some back up, get 15 gallons containers and have your bleach in one with 15 gallons and 15 gallons of tsp and borax in the other already mixed, then you can make yourself 50 gallons of applesauce mix and keep on rocking if need be.

Possible chem tank plumbing configurations

Dual 60gal tanks would benefit you also. This would allow you to carry 10.5 or 12.5% in one and gravity feed what you need to the other. We used a similar set-up in the past. Mount the bleach tank so that the bottom of it is at the 20gal mark of the mix tank, slightly elevated. I could show you some efficient plumbing configurations for that set-up.

Tim, My name is Kemp and I am from about 2 hours north of you. I believe I have some great opportunities in my area and I am very impressed with your Softwash system. I have used some of your ideas on my own home with some good results. I am currently learning all I can from generous folks as yourself so I can start powerwashing and roof cleaning in my area. I am very interested in your chemical mixing ideas and have a few of my own. I will be grateful if you would share some of your knowledge on getting consistant mixes using your gravity feed and multiple chem tanks.

Thank you in advance, Kemp
