i don't clean too many roofs but would like to purchase a tank to hold roof cleaner in. what is the smallest i can get away with to hold enough roof cleaner for one house.

55 to 60 would be the minimum I would take , if it were me seeing as the tank prices are not too cheap I would go ahead and get at least a 100 gallon

ya, i hear ya but its a weight factor with my truck. i dont use a trailer.

i have a 100 gal tank, i carry about 60 gals in it, of mix, that should take care of a nice size 2 story or 2, 1 storys. When i mount my tank over the wheels ill carry 100 gal of mix and 15 gal of pure in 3, 5vers. just in case i run into a johnny on the spot.

You'll need around 35 (give or take 10 gals) gals of good mix for an average 1500sq ft roof. Get what you'll be comfortable with. I had a 100 gal tank and it was frustrating... After 2 roofs (1-3 days worth of work) I'd have reload and remix.

I wouldn't get smaller than a 100.

For my roof tank I carry a 125-gallon in my enclosed trailer. Hugh

how do you keep ypur roof mix from settling at the bottom of the tank?

50-70 gal mixes are enough for most roofs, try to go with the largest you can fit in there.

ford f-150 6 1/2 foot bed. im not positive as to how much weight it can hold.

A half ton truck should generally handle around 1600lb in the bed. 200 gallons would be right at home in the bed of your F150- mount it toward the cab. Make sure your brakes are in good order, too!

you could always add helper leafs to your rear springs it would help with incressed weight

Dual 60gal tanks would benefit you also. This would allow you to carry 10.5 or 12.5% in one and gravity feed what you need to the other. We used a similar set-up in the past. Mount the bleach tank so that the bottom of it is at the 20gal mark of the mix tank, slightly elevated. I could show you some efficient plumbing configurations for that set-up.
