Sweeping Change for 2010

+100 on the sleep number bed.

As a side note, I've had vascular headaches (migraine) since I was 12. For the entire year that I drank only water (and coffee) I didn't have a single headache.

And since I haven't eaten the bad foods since 2004 (just tooooooo much of the good food.) I haven't had HEARTBURN since 2004 either.

I weighed 240 this morning. I went on Nutri System with my wife and have lost 20 lbs since Sept. I have not been 100% faithful to the diet. Nutri System taste good. My goal is to loos 40 lbs in the next 4 months. I have done it before but this time I plan on keeping it off by changing my bad eating habits.

Yeah I was going to attempt to lose weight as well, then I had a chocolate pie put in front of me on New Years Day so I figured, I will start the weight loss thing next year hahaha

Chris, I had lower back pain probably from the 280 lbs I carry everyday. I went to a chiropractor at my wifes request. I have always heard that they were quacks, etc. but after 6 weeks of therapy, I have no pain in my back at all. It worked for me so I am happy with the results. I do not have any disk problems, just out of alignment a little bit.

Here are a couple of pictures of me when I moved down to Florida in 1990. I would give almost anything to look like this again. LOL...

LOL that is to funny. I was in top physical shape as a Teenager because I wrestled, played football and Ice Hockey for years......then I discovered BEER and other fun stuff. Next thing you know I was in trouble with my parents along with having a bunch of tickets from the cops(Who knew today I would be one). Jump forward to today. I buy Chianti wine buy the caseload...YUM!!

Then a friend of mine at my other job just told me he remembers when I first got married(Almost 17 years ago) and I weighed a little under 160 @5'10+ today I am hovering at about 210 and I'm shrinking in height. So my friend ask me this-- "do you ever look in the mirror and say what hell happen to youself?" and I do but of course I come out with a wisecrack remark like "Hey I'm married so I don't have to worry about the way I look:grin: Then of course he comes back with "So you wife runs off with the mailman because you look like shit... As Homer Simpson would say...DOH!!!!

I was gonna diet this year, but on 1/1 I had 2 chocolate pies shoved in my face. That very moment, I made a promise to myself. Enjoy being fat and diet in 2011. So for all you that are dieting, send me your junk, if I do not like it, no doubt my kids will.

Come up North Tony, I will get you in shape  Lets start with about 8 Miles a Night with 25 Pounds of Back Pack Blower on your back it works wonders keeping the weight off

OH I also forget to tell you about the 20F temps or less, that will keep your body rate a bit higher too LOL

Day four 277 lbs and dropping.

Congrats Tony!

I cut salt out of my cooking completely and cokes out of my diet. Lost 6 lbs in a month doing just that. I only use 1 c sugar for a gallon of sweet tea (Most southerners use 2-3 cups!!). My southern heritage will not let me drink unsweet tea. Blasphamy!! I also have upped my water intake to be closer to what it should be. Now I just need to figure a way to be more active!!!

That sugar is a killer. I haven't had sugar since 2004. Your taste buds changed, I accidentally took a swig of regular coke and just about died because it tastes so bitter now.

Congratulations Tony!

Keep up the good work.

When I was at the refinery, we made about 2 or 3 gallons of sweet tea per 12 hour shift, we drank a lot of that and it had about 2 to 3 cups of sugar in each gallon, way too much.

I love sweet tea but since leaving there I only have it at restaurants but have been tempted to make it here at the house but don't want to get hooked on the sugar again.

Right now I mostly drink diet coke but sometimes water and sometimes orange juice.

Just have to get rid of the diet cokes now and I will be doing ok.

Sodas are definitely leaving my diet - again. I dropped them last year for about 2 months and lost 15 lbs.....Round table circuit messed me up LOL. I'm not posting any weight or measurements here but I'm going to try to play too :)

This morning "Eggs Benefit"

Sauce of cream cheese, flax oil, lemon, avacodo oil, rosemary, salt and cayenne pepper - blended and served over a poached egg sitting on top of a sliced avacodo all on a low carb piece of toast.....mmmmm.

Lunch- Tuna salad w/ white tuna - Olive oil mayo, chopped celery, chopped scallions and a handful of cashews mixed in. Served on a piece of low carb toast.MMMMMMMMM again!
