Hello everyone I am somewhat new to chemical cleaning and have been only doing this for a year part time mostly. Where I bought my equipment i asked the owner what is the best mixture to clean tile roofs in south Florida and he told me that it depends on the day and how bad it is. He recommended using a 70%-100% SH mixture depending on the job. Before all the pros start bashing me about this I searched for hours looking up surfactants and detergents and found nothing in the search button. So my question is, should i be mixing any surfactants or detergents to my mix and are there any house soaps and detergents that i can use to reduce my cost? I have asked many local guys around here and they just apply SH mix and that's it, some of them even say they don't rinse off the roof and let the rain do it. Thank you for all your answers and advice.
Link doesn't work
I can't even buy a gallon bc there is a $25 minimum and when I choose 2 it's still $30 shipping. Is he the only one that sells it?
Thank you everyone for the answered questions. Today I tried Fabuloso on my 100 gallon mixture i used 2 gallons of it and it really didnt mask the smell as much as i thought it would, it almost seemed like the SH mix ate most of it. Then i tried the pinalen max as well on my 50 gallon mix and the same thing happened. What scent boosters are you guys using from the power wash store or similar online stores? I see they have cherry, lemon and some other ones but which one would you guys say has the best smell in your opinion? I ended up just filling one of the fabuloso gallons and added a little fabuloso and topped it with water and went around the driveway and entrance pouring it that way the customer smelled that instead lol.
Aren't you the guy that was using straight SH to clean a roof? So you would rather spend an extra $20 -$30 per roof on SH, rather than use 50-60% water and 12 ozs of roof snot? Where did you go to school?I can't even buy a gallon bc there is a $25 minimum and when I choose 2 it's still $30 shipping. Is he the only one that sells it?
This was june before he lowered the price. Don't know why snotmende would be more expensive to ship. Its the same size and weigh. roof snot rinses easily and perfectly clear. Can't see how you can get better than that.
Nice job Bira!!!!!!!!!!!! Stay safe and keep the pictures coming...................
