i have a 6x10 high side open trailer to mount this all to. before i get to the questions let me explain what i do know.
1) you should always plumb from the top of your storage tank.
question: how is this done? do you just drill out a hole fasten a grommet and stuff the hose in tank? the plumbing of all this is one of my biggest concerns can anyone post or send pm pics of how it looks?
2) larger hose means more product applied=less time on job= more $$.
question: the delavan has 1/2 inch fittings will i need to purchase reducers to accommodate 5/8 hose?
3) an average roof needs 40-50 gallons of product to be cleaned. product consist of 40/60 to 50/50 SH to water ratio with TSP added @ 1/2 to 1 cup per gallon.
question: since i will also be offering house washes and the product used to clean roofs is the same for houses how many jobs could i complete with 150 gallon tank without going to the shop and refilling?
4)the delavan power source is 12 vdc or 115 vac.
question: what does that mean? do i need to purchase a battery? is this a fixed unit i would prefer to mount it to my trailer? how waterproof is it?
5) tips should be 25 or 45 degree.
question: where do i get these?
6) after 200 ft. pressure begins to weaken.
question: is 200' of 5/8 hose the amount i should purchase? what about the hose from the tank to the pump? i have already purchased a cox hose reel from bob for my PW. what kind should i get for for 5/8 hose?
7) offering a demonstration (roofs) is a great marketing tool.
question: from what i understand you offer a customer a free roof cleaning in exchange you put a sign in they re yard for a week. some say to clean half of the most visible part of roof and complete the job in a week or so. is this correct?
there's more but gotta go.
THANKS
