Roundtable Meetings

What is the matter with all you guys and gals here in So. CA? scared to meet your competitors?

Afraid we will steal your accounts?

Out looking for business or a new job?

Take a day off and get a round table meeting going, I know many lurk on this board from all over So. CA and the nation but it is my area that has the most scardy cats around.

Come out of the bushes and show your face, speak up and get this going, there is NO SHARING of who you do work for at all, it is not about that.

I personally have family plans on Feb 22 but had this been planned a couple month ago might have been able to change the date, not now.

Still Round Tables are for everyone in the business and it is to improve all of ours future and to meet, make friends and have a jolly good time.

These are the 5 current meetings. Anyone additional who would like to host a meeting just let me know. If you are interested in attending one of these meetings contact me or one of the folks above for times and locations. If you are interested in attending a meeting and we don't yet have a location let me know as others have contacted us and we are working on putting other meetings together.

These folks have really stepped up to help to help the industry and should be thanked and supported. They are shaping up to be some great meetings.

Another interesting item that has come up is to have these on the third Saturday in February and October each year! Seems like this is a great idea that folks like because it costs little to no money and you learn things as well as meet other contractors.

Thank you for stepping up as hosts. I posted some information about your meetings , please update any info necessary. There seams to be alot of steam picking up we are to about 30 people for Medford , NJ. We are still a month away and this is starting to get "bigger" than I thought. It only makes sense to me as other trades have monthly meetings , twice a year seems easy.

Thanks for the support , it is appreciated. Hopefully we all can agree to do these on a consistent basis. For example , the third Saturday in February and October each year. That should help with folks scheduling the meetings.

I would be interested in having one in Florida but why are we limiting ourselves to statewide meetings. I think they would be good annually but I would like to see them on a monthly basis.

Can't we get a chat room set up for online meetings? Any takers?

Hello Guys,

The interest is really picking up. I've got quite a few e-mails from folks and I believe we are now around 40 or so for Medford , NJ.
If you want to host a meeting please contact me. I have a list from different areas of people who would like to attend meetings in their area. This way we could also post all the meeting info in one spot , consistently.

I personally am going to see what interest there at our meeting to see how frequent we could do this and how really organized we can be. Thanks for hosting. When you get a chance e-mail me or call 1-866-440-3325 and I can get you some stuff I used to have a good turnout , that goes for any host that is interested.

I was hoping Russ might have one in St. Louis but only if more people attend than at the spring meeting. Me, my son, Reed, and Russ where the only ones there. I think I may give Greg a call and drive out to Indiana weather permitting.

Here is a problem, for whatever reason it seems they must all be held on the exact same date and many might have had plans, some might have jobs to do that they cannot get out of and others might find a different day would work better.

Why must they be on the 22nd?

I would not be able to attend as I have plans that are set in stone. NO Scott NOT YOU, out of town family getting together for a long over do family thing.

Pick another day and we might make it work, oh one other date not open with me Feb. 9.

Ron Mark is 8 hours or so North of Alan and I just so you know, he would be much closer to David.
 
Weekends are always to busy for me. I have tried twice to make it to a roundtable, and either Work goes insane, or regualr accounts want additional work. For me, a week day, during the day is far better.

Myself and two other local company would like to attend a round table.
 
Come on up Bob! Your around 2 and a half hours away I believe. I a located in Valparaiso - about 25 min. from Chicago. The location has yet to be set but it will be near Valparaiso.

Jon , its hard to organize and help others. if you would like to have one another day we will help. as of right now we have Alan ready and maybe Jeff from detrailers. this guys trailers are assume. I might make it to the cali round. I will be in fl whne the round tables are scheduled to go off. I'm glad that if i'm still in fl i will attend Johns or Brets.

I realize that everyone will have conflicts no matter what dat or time we choose.

I believe will will always be shooting for the third sat in feb and oct.
 
We can hold one for the DC area on Sunday the 23rd. Can't do it on the 22nd.

Anyone interested in Sunday the 23rd in the DC area, let me know. Say.... 2-5pm. Location TBA once we have a few folks lined up. :)
