I would like to attend one or the other maybe the one with golf cart races....Ron there is gambling in Puerto Rico....POKER Ron....We should do one here one of these years. OOH OOOH I know why don't you do a poll on where the get together should be...Be sure to add an option D: "It doesn't really matter what location you vote for, it will be held wherever the poll starter decides so your vote is irrelevant" that way it will be just like the polls on the other board....

Ron although I am Native American and my mother was born on the Reservation in the White Mountains of Arizona....The Indian Casino thing...we'll it's just not the same. I think they are tacky...."hey nice lil injen's we stole everything and killed everyone...here's your token casino"...I do not buy into it sorry.

That's true, it started here, and a bunch of folks (many who are not online now) worked hard to help spread it around and keep it going.

Lets see Mike Hindiliter had many, EA had three, Russel had one, I had three, I think we are all still online? (I'm missing someone Sorry)

Who are you reffering too? (not Online)

Many of the folks that had round tables are very successful people and still run larger operations. Some do not have time to post but many come online daily.

Rod and I held several, John T held one, Tim McCulla held one (real early on - years ago), there was one in VA but I forget who held it....I think Lenny S. went to it... Scott K. held one, Steve R held many, Tom & Barbara V held many, Henry B. held a couple after us, Rob Huffman held one (quasi PWNA but still a good meeting and open to ALL), Don Flory in Kansas held one, Celeste held two, I think either Chris Tucker or Don Phelps held one - can't recall who... I think Barry M held one, I think Jarrod held one, and I am sure I missed someone....

Beth rounded up who I had thought of - guess we know who the RT junkies are at heart :)

Celeste

Also didn't Alan S. hold one in CA? Or was it Jon?

round tables should be contractors getting together sharing ideas.

i think we have started having meetings by dist. to sell stuff.

We need to get back to the basics.

Round tables are after the ACR meetings when the contractors meet at the hotel or the restaurant after.

first thing a rounds needs and MC. the MC should introduce everyone and go around the tables and have folks intro themselves and tell them what they want from the round.

Lets face it people come to meet people, not buy equipment.

rounds should be free, contractors should pay there own way and not rely on anyone to help them with money.

free meeting rooms are availiable a;most any place. and if its at a dist it should be free and get a T-shirt for hosting.

We are back and ready to take it to the next level.

Sheduled round tables are what is needed. set dates so all can have a place to participate.

these should be local....local.local my community meets regular and i;m finding out others do also.

Ron,
I disagree. The vendors have information on how to do things, supplies and equipment that the contractors need. I see nothing wrong with having a vendor host a RT. As a matter of fact, of the ones I have attended most of the best ones were held by vendors. Just because a vendor is hosting, doesn't mean they are selling, but it does mean they may be able to put together a schedule everyone can benefit from. Everyone who wants to hold one - should.

Just my .02...

Beth
p.s. if I misunderstood your post, sorry....
