Roof Cleaning SEO help

Chris I think your doubting the Power of this site, it gets guys many jobs on a regular basis.

Ron, I have been posting on these BBS boards a long time. In fact, I have well over 3000 posts here. I can honestly say I have never had any customer tell me "I found you on PWI" either.
And I "keep score" and ask every customer "how did you hear of us".
Now, I am the exception, because my websites are so highly ranked for roof cleaning in my target market, a forum does not have a chance. Even the mighty RCIA Forum is not quite strong enough to get on the first page for a roof cleaning tampa search.
We have plenty of roof cleaners on the RCIA Forum who have no other internet advertising but promotional posts on our Forum who get plenty of work.
I am sure the same thing happens here, it depends on the amount of competition for keywords in your local market.

I am a roof cleaner in tampa, a very very crowded and competitive market. This forum, and my own RCIA Forum, don't do chit for me, except provide me with a backlink every time I post.
This is because I am targeting the search term "roof cleaning tampa".
Now, I suppose if I put cleaning stone coated steel roofs in tampa on any forum, or cleaning barrel tile roof in new tampa florida 33647 that maybe one searcher in a million might find it.
But my keyword research indicates people are not searching like that.
I have a Tampa Roof Cleaning Blog where I put weird keyword strings like cleaning stone coated steel roofs in tampa on.
Those who do not already have a highly ranked Blog as I do will be better served by making a blog here, or starting a separate thread where they can post the keywords they are aiming at.

You assume Chris, that surprises me chris that you think people do not find you here. Oh well

Chris there's a 1000 people here who do get found and know it. Thats why they blog


PWI offers more than promo posting, thats where i think your confused.

I am not "like everyone", if they say they found me on the Internet, I ask WHERE on the Internet and WHAT website, or WHAT Forum.
In over 3000 Posts on PWI, I have never had anyone say they found me on PWI.
The search for roof cleaning tampa is far too crowded for this, or even the RCIA forum to break into.

It is EASY to get into that search, because not very many people are targeting Roof Cleaning Cedar Shake Iowa like he is.

Not where I live.
OK, Do a search for roof cleaning tampa you will see the RCIA Forum on page 2 of the search. PWI only starts to show up on page 5.
If you think a customer is going 5 pages back, you are dreaming.
Even page 2 is not good enough!

SEO is like a tripod, concentrate on only one leg, and the tripod will collapse.
Blogging, posting on these forums, adding links, all are a part of the SEO Puzzle.
As far as these forums go, it is a very good idea to post on all of them. RCIA, UAMCC, PWI, TGS, Cleaning Talk, WCR, PT State
Just 2 to 3 posts on all the forums a month will do wonders for your SEO, vs making all your posts on only one forum.
Posting on relevant DO FOLLOW Blogs and Forums also helps greatly.
RCIA is a Do Follow Forum, and so is UAMCC, since I told Russ it originally was NOT, and they fixed it.
DO FOLLOW means that the forum or blog is enabled so Google can follow and crawl the links.
I think PWI is also a DO FOLLOW Forum ?
