I could be wrong but I am thinking that the electric unit could be left on the ground level and you could operate the vacuum surface cleaner on the 2nd and 3rd floor without any problem.

Because the inches lift is from the surface being cleaned and up from there, I am thinking that you still have a lot of feet of lift for the machine to perform so you don't have to move the vacuum unit from floor to floor, again I could be wrong.

I don't know of Jerry has tried this or anyone buying his Electric Sirocco systems have tried this in similar cleaning situations but I am thinking that it could be done, probably up to 6 stories high if you had enough hose.

Jerry let us know if anyone has done higher than 3 stories with the electric unit on the ground.

Thanks.

I have a call in, to one of my customers..
He came to me a few years ago fussing that he was going to loose a contract if he didn't add wash water control to the equasion..
He said he was told his price needed to come down if he was going to keep the contract, as it was soon to be renewed.
I showed him how a vacuuming surface cleaner could eliminate the need for a man-lift, if the balconies were all that needed cleaning.
He agreed to buy an SC21v Vacuuming surface cleaner, with a PEV2.. aka.. our big electric vac, with 200ft of vac hose.
Later that week, he called me ... He was ecstatic..
He said we saved him a few hundred dollars a day in manlift rentals,
he was able to work almost twice as fast, after figuring out the coordination of access,
and he never has to worry about another tennant that forgot to close their window before leaving for work.
I am awaiting his call to confirm he does better than 3rd floor balconies, but I'm pretty sure he does.
And by the way..
My friend impressed the PM enough, he now provides all handyman and cleaning services for the dozens of locations of that PM company.
There is nothing better, than a "compelling demo". Eh?

Chris, you ask about the PEV1 making the stretch..
I know, for sure you could run the 12" vacuuming surface cleaner at 200 ft..
.. Vertical downward pull is effortless, and 100cfm flows through a 2" hose effertlessly,
so.. 6 stories should be quite easy, I just have not seen it with my own eyes.

That is what I was thinking Jerry, thanks.

Chris, I think if you got this job, the system will open up a lot of new opportunities for you, especially things you might not have thought about.

There are a lot of surfaces that need cleaning but the area cannot be flooded, there are temp restrictions or other issues where regular wanding or surface cleaning will not work.
