I assume this comment is directed at least in part at me. I have been asked to write so many articles investigating organizations/companies/individuals on a variety of topics from all sides/groups, etc., and I turn them ALL down. This type of article goes against our mission to provide our industry in positive light. Yes, PWNA is a paying sponsor and we support them. But we also support the UAMCC, PWRA, IWCA, and other independent groups who are working to help contractors learn so they don't undercut their competition and who stay in the industry and support our industry's providers. I provide volunteer assistance to several of these groups, along with a little bit of freelance work (but I charge way less than I would for other clients). All of this is a labor of love out of a heart to better our industry. And yes, it is a LOT of work. I alone am essentially doing the job of what normally takes a full staff, I'm doing it monthly, and I'm doing it while my husband is gone serving our country several months a year and while I -- a stay-at-home mom -- am raising two kids, including one with special needs. If someone else wants to start an investigative publication for our industry, God bless you and best of luck!
