Pwna refund response!

John, why would SGT Walsh suggest supporting the "orgs" if he thought his heavy handed views would be fought by them? The answer is, the org that initially communicated with him via Robert H. was a laydown and he knew it. Of course he would suggest we join this "laydown" group.

That would be the equivalent of Al Gore suggesting we join Greenpeace "for our own good".

We need fighters for our industry. We need leaders who are willing to stand up and take the heat. We need guys with the backbone and persistence of Louis Farrakhan combined with the common sense and brains of Rush Limbaugh.

For 20 years we have been represented by a succession of everything from good hearted guys with no direction, to scheming con artists out to pad their own pocketbook, to just plain old traitors to our industry cruising the land looking for companies to buy out or suck dry.

It's time to call a spade a spade and quit trying to pretend otherwise. Things may have been different if, when Ron helped them gather members a couple of years ago, they had shown a little respect for the fact that those members were looking for representation that would actually help them in the future rather than a "really cool convention". The leadership is done for John. At this point I'm not even sure any leaders would be able to step in without being led around like a little girl from the few who have always controlled it.

The UAMCC died. It has been raised up again. This is it's last chance as far as I'm concerned. I'm willing to give them a chance and yes, I am a member and yes, I am actively trying to get some things accomplished.

The PWN# is dead. It rose a few times but it's nothing but a lifeless reincarnation of its old self each time. And yes, last year I was a member. I paid full price for my membership as a show of support when I thought there was enough life left in it to become an active voice for contractors.

I knew it was dead when the other BOD allowed Mike H to resign for something almost all of them condoned and knew about in advance. Only cowardly, self serving little men would do something like that. And now, a year later, they still remain like a gold medal of incompetence around the neck of the org.

Good try John. While your loyalty is admirable, your denial of the complete failure of the org to accomplish anything truly beneficial for our industry in 20 years shows that you have blinders on and refuse to see.

John, this is not about Ron, what Ron supposedly says or anything like that. I am not talking to Ron to ask what questions or anything like that, this is me asking what the pwn* has done for the industry by itself, not taking ideas from others (whether they are members or not), I am asking what they have done as an org for the industry.

This is a hard list to make as I am also trying to list what they have done for the industry also but I am having a hard time with the list.

Take a break John and let others participate, I am asking for many people to join in on this, again, you don't have to single-handedly defend the org, they have many members that can join in on making this list if they can.

Again, this is not about Ron, what you think Ron might have said or anything else like that, let's keep this on topic about the list of what they have done.

Maybe I should start a different thread about what they have done for the industry over the past 20 years so it does not confuse anyone reading this thread.

Chris, nobody is going to give you a legitimate response. They don't have any regard for the internet community. That's why all their marketing goes to unsuspecting local guys who don't have a clue as to what has been happening for the last 20 years. They don't even post on Beth's PWN@ billboard forum anymore. (Maybe they should ask for a refund. lol)

We might as well quit talking about them and let them commit org suicide. The only people they draw in are Ron haters and the uneducated on anything more than their local level. Ron had over 1000 contractors who spent hard earned money during an economic downturn to travel and stay in hotels to attend his events. This all came through internet communication. So the internet has been proven as a way to bring contractors together.

The best thing we can do for our industry is to have the good and decent members pass out PWI business cards to all the new members at the conventions so they can come here and learn about the true extent of the clean water act and learn how real contractors get together to solve real problems.

I know Tony, I was just hoping that someone out there that is a member would mention anything that the pwn* has done to help the industry over the past 20 years, if anything at all. I know it is a long-shot but I had some hope.

I know that these bbs and the roundtables, get-togethers, meetings, etc.... that we attend all around the country has done more for contractors in 1 year than what that org has claimed they have done in the past 20 years and there are lots and lots of contractors that will attest to this, especially the guys that learned some great money making services at the events, learned how to be more productive, made great networking contacts, learned about new technology and equipment (without having to pay a fortune to attend) and got to meet great people from all around the world.

That Video I seen it before a few times. What that shows me is that they never gave up. 20 yrs and there still doing it. Most business guys do not rap on the net like we do and sometimes I wish someone else would chime in here... but its a waste of time. I like reading these threads but there pointless to respond here on it. I'm giving Chris Facts and we went thru this in the past.. doesn't matter what is said here because its going to get knocked down if it involves the PWNA.. If one of the guys call me and asked about this thread I would say do not respond.. and some of us guys stay connected.

Posting about things is one thing...but doing something about it.. thats what counts because we all can bitch about things all night long...

Like Tony says I am also a "Paid" UAMCC member so lets see where they take us.. Chris time for you to sign up:) Common man your passionate about these guys getting things done.. Support them with your wallet by becoming a member....better yet get on there board. You've been around long enough and know what your looking for... What do you say?? Every post about org stuff you bring up Ron... he's now the President of the UAMCC.. support a friend.

I might join an org but once they get things to where they should be.

John, we are friends so it is kind of pointless for you to respond to what I want a list about since I started this line stating exactly what I was looking for in a list but you want to list things that don't go on the list according to what I requested so we can go in circles literally forever and end up arguing more and more (I should have been an attorney because I can argue till forever, even if I am losing I can still go on and on and on) hahahahaha

I am asking other members out there to list things that the pwn* has done for the industry, you have tried John, thank you for your time and effort. Time for someone else to step up and try.

Thank You John for all you have done to try to help the org.

In the future I might join an org but once they get their act together and actually start helping contractors, contractors like in Houston that needed help badly and nobody in the org would step up to the plate and help them. Helping contractors and actually helping the industry will speak volumes about an org, not just giving lip service and putting ads in magazines how they have helped the industry for 20 years, we all know that is B.S. whether people will admit it or not it is the truth!

Actually helping contractors in need, serious need is how you can get a lot of members quickly, by word of mouth on how they helped contractors, what they did to help contractors in their time of need, how they helped change how a city is issuing fines and putting contractors out of business to how contractors are not afraid to go to work, they are not leaving the industry to something else to avoid being sued out of existence, being afraid everytime they go out to work that there are scumbags out there with cameras taking video and pictures of them not reclaiming and hauling away the wash water (not needed in most cases there in Houston but the org does not know that and one of their people is trying to make people believe that they have to when things finally started to change with the help of Ron, not the org) and they are not worried and stressed out about trying to feed their families.

These kind of changes and helping contractors is what it is about and so far there is no org out there doing this kind of help whether anyone is honest enough to admit it or not so why join an org that is not concerned with helping contractors the way they need help? Why join if they are not going to help? Why join if their main goal is to shop bmp's and make contractors lives' harder and harder instead of helping the contractors? Where is the help?

If and when there is finally some help going towards the contractors, then I will join an org but until then don't hold your breath.

Thanks Chris. I tried but your younger then me so my days of debating to the end of time... are over my friend. It's pointless.. The best part right now for me is I get to watch the UAMCC guys do there thing. The PWNA I'm working with them now to close out a few things but doesn't mean I'm rooting for the UAMCC to fail. I just, like you do not want to get involved with them right now until like Ron says " They get things staight.

I was just emailing a friend of mine today and I was telling them that at times I feel isolated and overwhelmed because I can't seem to catch up.. I'll follow thru on stuff I started but my involvment with all these orgs is going to become less time consuming. To many uphill battles for me to spread myself out to thin like I always end up doing..

Maybe I'll do that reality show on Powerwashing..lol I can't believe the money these braindead people get for some of these reality shows. J-Wow Wow.. She makes more in a week then I do in a month or maybe a year if she's getting $2million per episode... and her and the little chubby one on the "Jersey shore" I'm hitting a blank what the dumb bums name is but between her and J-wow wow it seems the only thing they perfected is how to pee on a beach in front of family and there kids and they only get a slap on the wrist for it.

No problem John, I understand what you are saying.

It is amazing what they pay those people to be on the shows, especially with no real talent for real world jobs.
