Professional Cleaners MasterMind Group

Ron, you missed the point of my message entirely. I am not defending DJs think tank costs nor am I defending Chuck. I am not taking the classes nor have I ever met or know anything about Chucks classes. To sum it all up for the simpletons who didnt grasp my point here it is in one sentence......I was merely pointing out the misconceptions people were saying that DJ wasteaching these classes, he is not, just merely organizing and promoting it.

As for you or anyone else that wants to get on DJ or Chuck for business practices or cost, that's your opinion and are free to do so....I don't care about that.

If you read the first post, he insinuated that he was teaching the classes. Since I have seen no evidence of him being super successful, I find that a little odd, especially coming from a 23 year old. Maybe it is just my bias.

BTW, to answer a question, yes, I have read think and grow rich, multiple times.

"After procrastinating for over a year, I finally booked Chuck for a one-day sales tune up. He helped me accomplish more in one day than all the books and seminars I have used in the last 13 years as an insurance professional. I cannot imagine all the missed sales before I started coaching with Chuck. Now I have the confidence going into next year that I have the structure and marketing tools to double my productivity and sales. Beyond that, I just booked Chuck for my second sales tune up!"

"After attending some of your workshops, I decided to use some of your out-of-the-box sales tactics. The first tactic I used resulted in a phone call from a very affluent Director/Relater personality style. The second tactic I used on that same client resulted in closing a $56,000 job. I feel that I am so much further ahead of my competitors by IMPLEMENTING your strategies."

Those are just to name a few ....

I love the MMA/Coach analogy! One of the biggest assets of this program is ACCOUNTABILITY!
A boss for the boss. . .

Again I am more than happy to answer any questions anyone has.

Really surprises that people are upset about this. I was thinking that most of the people that are upset are conservatives, like myself. To me I think its great to see anyone pushing and trying to make a go at any type of business. Its not like DJ posted this and said "Hey all of you veteran contractors suck at sales" Or even that Chuck is a better salesmen than you are, so why take offense. I know alot of guys that fight MMA and could just beat the holy crap out of there coach/trainer, does that mean they should hate on the guy for it, NO they are there to keep you motivated and to push you forwards and reach higher goals.

I think your taking it wrong, as well as some others.

All types of learning is good.

I'll say it again , anyone is welcome here.

You know what might be good. Post up the client list DJ of chucks happy clients.

I'm sure there's a list. It's called references. I'm sure that's chucks referral list also.

I mean if your really good your not soliciting new business much ? Right

My posts weren't about DJ. I think all these types of things are mostly a waste of time. You can either sell or you can't. If you can't all you have to do is hire someone who can.

If anyone found this helpful you can send me a check for $1800 if its burning that much of a hole in your pocket.

Thats not true and you know it Tony.

I'm not a salesman at all. I don't think of myself as a people person and I probably couldn't sell a bottle of water in the desert. As a matter of fact I've always thought that I'm just too honest to be a salesman.

I've taken some great advice and teaching and been able to start a real sales program. I'm not saying that I'm taking over the world or anything, but it has made an unbeleivable difference in just months.

Hiring a salesman wouldn't have gotten me anywhere because I wouldn't have known what to do with them.

Talent is something you are born with, skill is something that you develop.

Fortunetly - sales is both talent and skill.

Chris you are 100% right. Even Chuck will tell you that he is not a natuaral sales person - he has learned the art of selling over the years and perfected it into a sharp skill. He now shares not only his learnings but the learning he has come in contact with over the past twenty years. The idea of a mastermind group is to use one another to learn the skills and abilities each of us have developed by beinging in our own enviroments and life styles. This is one of the keys to success! The ability to effeciently and effectivly pull resources from others that we as individuals would take years to develop on our own.

Sale men's are made not born. Sheer abilities play a huge part in everything in you life. It's the same with sales.

Chris your honesty might be your biggest asset in commercial sales.

Looks matter if your skills are not exceptional. But good looks have nothing to do with the ability to close a sale.

When we meet someone we size them up in ten seconds. These are all great fundamentals taught by DJ an chuck. Together you can get haircuts manicures & go shoe shopping. All covered in sales 079.

Recently I took over an org that originated from the hinderliters. This org has no data base for members, it has no known accounting. I do not make assumptions any longer on how many here do not have fundamentals of business ownership down.

Chuck's DJ toni Scott or anyone here's has something to offer.

Mines not for sale, when I decide to Sell if that ever happens I will certainly let you know. It will be higher than chucks price.

Everyone that knows me knows that I do not consider myself much of a salesman. I also do not consider myself much of a people person. I know the areas that I excel in are areas that I finally am using on a daily basis. I am able to fire people and have them thank me for giving them a chance, come back and visit me when they are in the area, and they still consider me a friend and keep in contact with me. I can also, typically, get people to perform at a higher level then they ever have before, and they are happy when they do it.
When it comes to sales I know that if I want to sell someone, I WILL get the sale. The true, natural salesman in my family is my wife. Her natural sales ability blows me away.
But good looks have nothing to do with the ability to close a sale.
Ron proves this... Ahh shoot, I probably do, too. Thank goodness my wife is half blind.

Chris, you are a salesman. Otherwise how did you get that beautiful wife of yours?

Every sales pro can use direction. But pep talks aren't direction.

Maybe this course is more specific.

Good Point! I sometimes think hiring a salesperson would be a good idea, but still would not know what to do with them. It takes a program and a system to follow and teach. There are some great sales people who would be the total package, but I would have to be a heck of a salesman just to hire them. For me it is a numbers game. I had a guy tell me today to offer to pay people's Angie's list fee for the rating and it just didn't seem right to me. I am not a quick closer, it takes a while for someone to figure me out enough to trust, then it is for good. Most of my business is repeat, because I got scared when the economy went bad and stopped all advertising expenses. I could not close a deal with a reluctant buyer. I don't change people's minds, I just find the ones who see things the way I do and it works out naturally.

What I meant was sales involves getting up off your butt and methodically doing something daily. All the motivational talk in the world will not make up for any deficiencies any of us have in that department. If you aren't going to put in the hours religiously, you aren't going to get results.

Hey DJ if you see this your name came up with me and Rob Huffman this morning when I was heading over to a property managers house we do business for. Briefly we talked about what your doing at such a young age... The funny thing here is me and Rob don't remember what we were doing at your age and we wished we started as young as you did... But then again we had to get the partying out of the way and that took....ummm maybe to many years to do that.

I think that there were some other "similar" exercise equipment videos out there, cannot remember them right now but they were similar and said to give really good workouts.

Anyone have the links to those?
