I have never had a problem like that.
I have been low balled, and low balled myself to keep my men working.
Whatever it takes.

If it is real slow, and I WANT the job, OR it is one of my repeat customers, I will do what it takes to get it.
My brother, who is an A/C Contractor calls this a "cut throat" business.

well In my humble oponion I would say its cut or be cut most of the time but I find that more times than not my work sells its self but not every one (customers) live by the same sword of quality over quantity

i tried low balling to keep up with some of the guys out here in VA. i bust my butt doing this ladys house, scrubed gutters, cleaned up some rust, figuring maybe she give a nice tip. she wrote the check for 99.00. i was pissed at myself. from now on i tell them would you go to sleep next to a guy that took a shower for 4 min? or someone who took a shower for an hour?

Well if a guy asked me that question i would tell him to get off my property before i kicked his &$$. i would never sleep next to a guy no matter how long he took a shower for . ha ha
